How well does the heyok light adapter kit work, is it worth the money?

After months of testing, I am finally ready to release my Stone Crab LCG Transmission for the TRX4M. ($5.99)

This transmission mounts into almost any TRX4M chassis. When using the stock-style skid plate, all of your links will mount just as they did before. When using the LP skid plate, the lower links mount in the factory upper-link location, and the upper links must be mounted directly to the chassis. This may increase your wheelbase, so be sure to check your driveshaft length.
Extra side and corner plates are included to help seal the transmission from dust and debris, but they are optional. Only the top plate is required for assembly.

The motor can be mounted facing either forward or rearward, depending on chassis clearance and personal preference.

I also plan to release a fully enclosed version of the transmission. Once it’s complete, I’ll add for downloading.

I know these won’t be for everyone but if you need the weight down low look no farther then the Ballast Wheels and Weight Hangers. Ich bin mit meinem Projekt soweit erst mal echt zufrieden! Am Fahrwerk und der Lenkung muss zwar noch ein bisschen was gemacht werden, aber es wird langsam.
Kurze Info zum aktuellen Stand: Der Radstand ist um ca. 10 cm verlangert.
Als Nächstes stehen folgende Upgrades auf dem Plan:
• Ein 2-Gang-Getriebe (am liebsten per Servo schaltbar)
• Ein stärkerer Motor
Habt ihr da gute Empfehlungen für mich? Was habt ihr so in euren verbaut und womit habt ihr die besten Erfahrungen gemacht?

I recently bought a new body and bumpers for my trx4m but the body isn’t fitting on the chassis with bumpers on, what do I do?

Some of you might know me from my personal account (Hazzzy696) I figured it was time to make an account for my new small business and introduce myself. My name is Steve I have been messing with RC crawlers My name is Steve I have been messing with RC crawlers for 20+ years. I am finalizing my design in my LCG transmission currently and will be posting the files on Cults3d in the next few days for you to download and print yourself. For anyone without a printer I will be opening an Etsy shop after I get home from vacation and sell them from there. Look for it around the beginning of September. There are 2 different Skid plates for the transmission. One is a stock style Skid Plate and should fit into any chassis and use stock links. The other is a LP Skid Plate and mounts the upper links to the chassis and might require custom links to get the right suspension geometry. As for my Dual Motor Dig Transmission I am also working on finalizing the design will be posting it in my Etsy shop for sale once I get that up and running. I have also been working on a set of 1.8” wheels and weight hangers that fits 3-4 3/8” 1/2oz tungsten pinewood derby cylinders. I will be releasing them on Cults3D and MakerWorld soon. The weight hangers fit mostly inside the wheels with a 10MM extended hex. Wheels will use either my hex adapter or the aluminum RampCrab adapter if you have them already. I will also be releasing my chassis design in both the 10degree and 20degree Skidplate angle. I’m sorry for the long post I am just really excited and nervous to start the next step of selling and releasing my files. Just got a traxxas trx4m and also got it a bunch of upgrades like axles with bearings, new motor and esc, new links, new servo, wheels and tires with silicone inserts
In making this to see if I should build it at home or send to a guy I trust who can do it for me, he’s somebody I know that owns a hobby shop in Egypt.
I do have history with rc cars, I do have a traxxas slash ultimate which I have repaired multiple times, just recently installed a new drive shaft. And a traxxas Maxx that’s I haven’t broken yet.
Anyway what should I do about the trx4m

You wanna add that weight down low I would like to introduce my first files published for download. These are my Ballast wheels. They are slightly over sized 1.85” (1.8”) wheels that will work with my Weight hangers for the TRX4M. (Sorry I do not own a Scx24 to test hanger designs on) Most of the hangers you will have to run the +10mm hex extension. They have close to 40mm diameter inside the barrel to cram as much tungsten as I possibly could into them. With 4 3/8” 1/2oz each cylinder you get a total of 2oz or just under 60g per hanger of tungsten. I will be releasing my weight hangers separately this evening. I hangers designs for the most common Trx4m axles at the moment. Meus Isov2 and Portal (with help from SkidMarkCrawlers), and Injora Portal and for their brass counter weight knuckle system. Wheels and hangers will be available for downloaded for free from both Cults3d and Maker world links below. Weight Hangers will only work with my wheel as the next largest opening I could find in a 1.8” wheel was 38mm.

Picked up a new Defener yesterday to go with my Hightrail, still deciding what type of build I want to do on it.

So i ordered the Injora aluminum front and rear bumpers for my defender, and the body refuses to clip back in after installing. It seems like the alignment is off somehow.
Does anyone have this on their trx4m? How did you install it?

Not exactly smooth but we got the job done 👍

Just got my lil bronco the other day from my local hobby shop. Went back today with my friends and we grabbed some heavier bead lock wheels and tires to upgrade our fun. We sat for about 70 minutes and not one tire was mounted properly. My fingers hurt from trying to press together the wheel enough for the bolt to catch on the hub. Doesn’t seem to be any help online or other people mentioning this. All 6 bolts are the same length. We don’t have any longer ones. I got 2 of the wheels finally bolted up. But the tires popped out of the bead before completely tightened so basically still at square one.

Anyone got hints or tips? Are we just missing something silly? I almost want to glue the hub to the inner barrel! Not sure why they’re separate pieces in the first place.

Is the light kit for the k10 high trail work with injora esc? I have seen reviews that claim the Traxxas light kit only works with the stock ecm, is this true, or is there a chance it will work with my injora mb 100 g2? Any info would be greatly appreciated
