Subreddit announcements Link to diagram with a complete list of TGIF shows!
Good day everyone!
Since there is some confusion at times as to which shows were on TGIF, I thought it would be a good idea to post a link to this handy reference guide listing nearly every single show that was on TGIF. This includes every incarnation of TGIF as well as "Pre-TGIF" (mid 80s through the late 80s) as well as years active and time slots. Eventually, I will be stickying this thread at the top so people can use it as a quick reference tool.
Here is the link: TGIF (TV programming block) - Wikipedia#Lineup_history)

General discussion Full house needs to be on blu ray
Full house needs to be on blu ray. Now we got perfect strangers on blu ray. It’s looks really good on Pluto. Now I’m thinking that other TGIF shows need to be on blu ray. I’m thinking that full house needs a HD port on blu ray. It’s a shame that there no HD port of the Show. I’m going to say that is going to be on blu ray in the future what you think?

Step By Step Why didn't Frank Lambert add on to his house?
The dude is a carpenter by trade. He's got the kids shoved three to a room (made worse because the Fosters and Lamberts do not get along) and Cody is living in a super cramped van with no stove and no bathroom.

Remember the TGIF Time Warp, the (only?) crossover event to involve **all 4** shows in the lineup?
A refresher video for those who don't: https://youtu.be/tXGkj6fUmhk
And yes someone posted the whole thing on the Internet Archive: https://archive.org/details/1997-11-07-the-tgif-time-warp
I know there were other crossovers (e.g. Urkel visiting the Tanners and the Foster-Lambert clan, Mr. Cooper teaching Michelle Tanner's class for a day) but I believe this was the only time all four shows were involved. Notably, that happened to include what ended up being the series finale of "You Wish" (minus a few more "burn off" episodes the following summer) and the "Sabrina" and "Boy Meets World" episodes involved are still part of those shows' rerun packages.
Yes, TGIF was mostly "supernatural" shows that season; "Boy Meets World" was actually the odd one out, and of course of the supernatural themed shows only "Sabrina" proved to have any real staying power.

Step By Step Who do you think Dana should have ended up with?
Rich? Cody? As another option, what about her boyfriend from the Hawaii episodes? He was nice, smart, rich, successful, deeply devoted to her and lived in Paradise. I was shocked Dana turned him down so quickly, I certainly would have given it some more thought.

Boy Meets World Cory mourns the lunch lady -- bizarre episode!
I think I know what they were going for in this episode (appreciate what you have before it's gone) and it was a good topic but the execution really fell flat. We get a brief clip of Cory having some positive experiences with the lunch lady and then later she dies. It's hard for the viewer to get too emotionally vested in this story since she was apparently a big deal in Cory's life and yet we never saw her before and only had this brief clip to introduce her.
And the whole moral -- appreciate what you have before it's gone -- is sort of wild for this outing since Morgan, Alan, Amy, Eric, Topanga and Mr. Turner all barely appear in this episode and 4 of those have pretty much been reduced to side characters at this point.

Clueless Do you think Clueless could have been a hit for TGIF if it had retained more of the movie's cast, such as Alicia Silverstone, Breckin Meyer and Paul Rudd?
They were all pursuing bigger things although interestingly, Breckin did later star in the TGIF show "Married To The Kellys".
