Community Contest: We Need a New Logo for r/SuperLeague!

As some of you might have noticed, our current subreddit logo was made by me a while back by adapting the official Super League logo. While it’s served us well, the sub has grown a lot—to the point where the subreddit and its branding are actually being used on some official platforms.

Because of that, I think it’s time we properly differentiate ourselves from the official league so it's clearer who we are.

I want to open this up to the community and to get people to help with designs. I can do graphic design myself but very poorly so it'd be great to have others input.

If you want to help:

Comment your designs or concepts in the comments below (or link to them). I'm not sure how many we will get, but I'll put the top three to a community poll so we can all vote on the winner.

Full credit will of course be given to the winning creator in the sidebar.

I'm completely open-minded about what the new look should be, and I'm not sure if we should stick close to classic Rugby League motifs (V-shapes, balls, posts), a design that incorporates Snoo or a clean, standalone badge/icon. Also not sure if the color scheme should stay tied to the traditional Super League palette, or take a more unique approach?

I'll keep this post live for around a week and will likely sticky it further into the week to try get more traction. Please comment any questions and I'll be happy to answer!

Thanks all!

St.Helens R.F.C. can confirm that Head Coach Paul Rowley has stepped down from his role at the Club with immediate effect.

Assistant Coach Eamon O’Carroll will assume interim leadership of the Saints’ First Team.

Paul has navigated an unprecedented injury crisis during his tenure, maintaining a very competitive position throughout the 2026 Betfred Super League season.

The Board commends him for his achievements during this challenging period and wishes him the very best in future endeavours.

Eamon O’Carroll’s interim appointment delivers continuity and stability as the Club gears up for the business end of the season, and as a thorough process to identify a permanent successor is embarked upon.

Chairman Eamonn McManus added: “I would like to thank Paul for his commitment and extreme hard work as our Head Coach. He will always be warmly welcomed at the Club.

“The decision was an extremely difficult one for all concerned, and we fully recognise the extra challenges that Paul faced with us this particular season.

“We as a club must now look forward and do all within our powers to preserve our position as the most successful club in the history of Super League and to restore our position as a silverware contender going forward.”

St.Helens R.F.C. will make no further comment at this time.

New Sky Super League Broadcast Deal supposedly finalised

Can't see any other sources reporting on this, personally I'm not a fan of this unconfirmed new deal.

More money, but only 2 matches a week guaranteed to be shown, with the possibility of other broadcasters picking up the slack. There's no guarantee that anyone else will pick up the slack, so that probably means much less visibility.

I look forward to the official announcement, and if anyone else has any other sources, please share!

Time for Brad Arthur to leave?

Given the result at Castleford, and the club hasn't won any trophies so far this yeah is it time to get rid of Arthur and bring in someone else with no pedigree at the club?

As we all know losing a game or games after doing really well for is easily enough to get rid.
