Anyone have any personal experience of these complex and the area? Reviews online are a bit of a mix.

Does anybody know what happened to it? It seems to have completely closed it doors :(

My husband’s job is relocating to Houston area and his company is moving us! His deadline to be in Houston is March 1, 2027.

Our dilemma is, my kindergarten is starting school next week in California. Should we move after the holidays in January 2027 and have her finish second half of kindergarten in a new school in Texas?

Or my husband and I can somehow manage to be apart for a few months and have her finish her kindergarten year completely in California.

Other factors to consider is she will be six years old and I’d like her to be in a swim team next year. If we move middle of school year, I’m hoping she will still be able to meet the deadlines and join a team whereas if we stay in California and finish the school year here, she will not be able to do any sports.

If anyone has any experience or know of the swim teams in for in the Houston area and can help shed some light, I’d also appreciate it.

We have my 5 year old, 18 month old and expecting one due middle of September. My husband can go on baby bonding in March and stay in California but will have to return to work sometimes in April. School ends early June.

I (19M) am pretty unattractive, and have been thinking about getting a few cosmetic surgeries so I have a chance at competing in the dating market. Does anyone know of any surgeons that do upper eyelid surgery and buccal fat removal in Sugar Land? I’m also looking into minimally invasive limb lengthening surgery as I’m 5’9” so I’d appreciate recommendations for that too.

I sure most people know this already but this is for the people that are not informed yet. Do not go to A Plus Transmissions Houston at S Dairy Ashford Rd. I went in for a transmission maintenance fluid change, and they tried to upsale me on some bogus repair that they cannot specify. I asked the guy a simple question about the repair, and he immediately started acting very suspicious and telling me that he won't allow me to get the fluid changed. I then knew for certain that these are very scummy and dishonest people because a simple question about the root of the repair made them very uncomfortable. I assume that they do not deal with car people often and was caught off guard. I'm not sure about all the other shops under the A Plus Transmissions brand, but do not go to the one on Dairy Ashford Rd. I hope yall find this helpful

I recently accepted a new job and will be moving to the Sugar Land/Stafford area in the next few weeks. My office is in Sugar Land, so I'm looking for a place within a reasonable commute.

I've been searching online (Apartments.com, Zillow, Google, etc.), but almost everything I'm finding is $1,400+ for a 1 bed/1 bath, and that's honestly stretching my budget quite a bit. I'm a recent college graduate just starting my career, so I'd really like to keep my housing costs as reasonable as possible.

I'm looking for recommendations on:

• Apartments that are clean, safe, and well-managed.
• 1 bed/1 bath ideally under $1,400 (the lower, the better).
• Areas in or around Sugar Land, Stafford, or nearby that are worth considering.

I'm also open to alternatives if anyone knows of:

• Someone leasing out a condo or apartment.
• A private room in a house.
• A guest house or garage apartment.
• A "paying guest" or roommate arrangement with respectful, working professionals.

• Recent Computer Science graduate.

I’ve been diving head first into junk journaling over the last year, but find myself driving all over the place to find meetups. I’m totally fine with that and have met some great people, but sometimes I wish I could just have a little meetup around here and make it a regular thing. Does anyone know if there’s a meet up group around this part of town or would there be interest if I started a group myself? It would be a free meetup where people could bring their own stuff to work on and people can swap ephemera. I've been looking for a primary care physician for my mom since she's been having leg pain for a few weeks now and only goes away when she takes pain meds. She can't be taking this type of medicine because she gets extremely sleepy and exhausted after taking the medicine.
