You're correct. Tamriel is the continent, Skyrim is a country. There are no official figures for how big Skyrim is supposed to be, but our best guess is that it's supposed to be around the size of Scandinavia.
2 u/Anon-Bard 1h ago Ive heard it compared to Alaska in scale before, but the Scandinavian comparison makes sense if you're taking the map scale of Daggerfall as 1:1(ish).
