Elden Ring is one of the few games that compounded awe on top of wonder time and time again. The scope and scale with such intricate details are basically unrivaled.

Volcano manor dungeon also deserves a shoutout since you can legitimately miss it in it's entirety on a playthrough.

I never once set foot in Volcano Manor on my first playthrough, and what's crazy is I didn't feel like I missed out, even after I went there. It's not even because I don't like Volcano Manor, the game is just so complete, even without it. It felt like its own little Dark Souls inside of Elden Ring on my second playthrough.

It's such a true masterpiece of a game.
