For sure especially as the power requirements jump up. Nothing like a 15 hour side quest setting up a nuclear power plant in the middle of nowhere

100% this! My largest and most enjoyable project so far was an energy crisis that led to a 70 generator turbo fuel plant. That single project cemented my emotional connection to the playthrough and made me fall in love with the game, all from a crisis. I’m at 200 hours, about half done with phase 4, and still feel like the ultimate noob. I convinced a friend to give it a shot and within minutes he’s like “the flashlight sucks”. Me: “THERES A FLASHLIGHT???”

Bro did not pay attention to the big tray of controls in the bottom-right.

I bet you don't know about tapping E to swap to different item tiers or middle mouse click to quick select whatever you're looking at or zoop mode or anything either lol.

Be like me: decide to bump up to nuclear, realize the spot you want needs an extra resource transported in, need fuel to power drones so I don’t have to take a train there, spend 30 hours meticulously planning and working a giant fuel depot. Spend the whole time fighting with MK.2 pipes flow being imperfect.

Okay now time to make the Nuclear plant I wanted to make…
