Fluff What game surprised you how long it was?

I can never progress the main quest in Skyrim. I easily have over 400 hours in the game across numerous new characters, but I don't think I've even come close to "beating" it. I remember fighting Alduin on the mountaintop in one playthrough, but that's as far as I've ever gotten.

Fighting Alduin is the end of the main storyline... So, you have beat it, it seems.

Nope, to complete the game you need to beat him in Sovngard.

Fighting him on the mountaintop is when you receive dragon rend, not the end of the game.

No; I mean the first time you face him, with the other dragon up near the greybeards. I feel like that's maybe the halfway point.

The main story isnt even long tbh. You could knock it out pretty quick if you just sat there fast traveling to each new quest and not getting distracted. That isnt easy in a game like Skyrim though.

this was my first Bethesda game, I remember getting the 2% instakill dagger in my first playthrough and just rushing every main quest and beating the game till the credits in like 10h.. and then I started playing Skyrim
