Great answer. Playing again currently, almost at the endgame stuff again. Does it never end???

I don't think anyone has ever fully completed the game. I'm not fully up to date in it though.

Spoilers:

The super secret queen blueprint room was found. A letter in it was found with her real will.

I think that's the full ending. It's not fun getting to it tho because of the rng.

I know about the secret secret place. I still don't think that's everything though. We still have a variety of leads and clues that are seemingly unimportant or useless but I'm not convinced.

I swear the rivets have got to be something. They're even where the stamp should be on the Dare Bird envelope!

Then there's the 4x4 panels found in a bunch of places, like the Boiler Room, along with the same configuration of candles in the Tomb

And what's with The missing/extra letters in certain rooms?

Probably a bunch of red herrings, but maybe....

Does it never end? Is every lead worth chasing? Is any clue actually a new clue?
Seems to me that either you choose where to stop searching and leave some things unanswered, or you spiral into obsession. Does it never end? No.... Unless you're content with what you have.

One of my friends who played through all (or at least most) of the game said, “it’s a great game that has no respect for my time”, and I think that’s a solid review.

I played up to the initial ending, and found a number of the other secrets but fell off once everything required incredibly specific room combinations, or multiple room / tool requirements.

I think this convinced me to stop playing now, before I've even gotten to Room 46. I'm annoyed enough at how little resources you get. I don't understand the screenshots with like 14 gems and 11 keys how the fuck are people getting all that?

Yeah I'm pretty convinced of that as well, though I'd be very surprised if there were any major discoveries left. At this point I think it's probably fairly minor things, perhaps a puzzle or two we haven't found. The developer has said he likes leaving some stones unturned though, so who knows?

It ended for me when I got tired.
