Luckily, Odyssey was my first AC so I loved it. 

In fact, I haven't played an AC since either.

I think I didn't like it as much as I should have because I had just played Assassin's Creed Origins, and I didn't realise that each game was sorta the same lol

Well, yes and no. The games up to syndicate are very different from the ones past origins, which are more like RPGs, it was a bit of a soft reboot. I like them all (only played up until Valhalla, and haven’t even finished that one) but the older ones just hit different, especially the characters feel so much more developed

I've played a lot of them and Odyssey is, by a large margin, my favourite in the franchise.

But yeah I didn't get close to 100%ing that either

finished the story, did a bunch of side stuff, and I think there were still like 2 regions I hadnt even visited yet

Same, it was my first AC and it was amazing. But then Valhalla was the same and I burned out quick
