My favourite gaming trope is when I play for like 20 hours and finish a quest, and the game title comes up on the screen. That feeling of "oh shit it's only just starting" is amazing.
Assassin's creed odyssey does this, you play on a moderately sized island, doing quests, finding treasures, etc, then you get your ship like 8 or 10 hours in if you play without running and bam, title.
It spoils a bit because you can open the map and see the size of it but at the point the title appears you forgot that you were in the tutorial
Despite some of the more recent AC games being a bit crap, Odyssey was a real stand out for me. First one in a decade I bothered to platinum. It's a fantastic game
