Classic choice - there's like 3 false endings lol

You think it’s the end of the line. But wait there is more!

I only remember being nearly unstoppable at some point, having enough weapons and ammo to kill androids and scare the xenomorph if necessary. And then the game hit me with the ol‘ ‚you have to leave all weapons before entering this area‘.

I loved the sections where androids had shock immunity because of their hazmat suits!

The game is pretty good in scaring the shit out of you and surprising you constantly. That being said I should wait till darkness to play it again.

Oh no, I just got enough flamethrower fuel that I felt safe.

came here immediately for this

if anything, I kinda feel like the game ended up having some pacing issues with going on too LONG

Was about to say, i get what they were going for but after the first 'ending' fighting androids for a while felt way less exciting. It had its moments after that, great ones even, but if it ended right then and there I would've been perfectly happy with it. Especially since the first time I played it it took me like 15 hours moving from closet to closet just to get halfway through the game lol.

One of the reasons the recent RE titles have been so enjoyable. You get a super polished and enjoyable 10-16 hours out of it, if you want to play more you can go for faster times or unlock more stuff, if not you got satisfying experience.

I think it's especially crucial for Horror games to be relatively short.

I was 100% ready for the game to end after fixing the engine core. It just started dragging after that.

Yes this.

Wait, now there's 3 of them? THIS IS GETTING OUT OF HAND!

Actually works against the game TBH. That game should have stopped at 12-16 hour mark, but it just keeps going.

It was honestly too long IMO, the xenomorph started feeling more like an annoyance than a threat like 2/3 of the way through

Still an absolutely fantastic game

Sadly, it's not simply long. It's too long. It's a great game, but getting an ending snatched away just to drop you in another level got exhausting. I didn't need a level where you get stalked by TWO xenos at once.

This is one of the few where it's a bad thing. That game grossly overstayed its welcome!

That's subjective. The only point when I felt the game dragged for too long was at the very end.
