I played it several times without the second castle before realizing there is more. Man did my mind explode that day. Such a good game.

game so good, people still hide spoilers about the endgame twist

Inverted not mirror, mirrors don't "mirror" vertically

In the upside-down castle, people call him the Cunt Dracula

mark as spoiler?

I think it is okay to 'spoil' 29 year old games. The release date of SotN is closer to the moon landing than it is to today.

How does this compare for absurdity?

The princess is in another castle.

:)

At some point insisting on hiding spoilers only serves to diminish the awareness and cultural impact of classic works.

People really gotta make peace with the fact they won't get to experience everything firsthand, and getting "spoiled" on some things is more likely to attract interest to things they would otherwise never bother with than to ruin it.

Wait until he hears about Aerith her secret Gold Saucer ride with Cloud.

i'm sorry? spoiler be it small like princess is in another castle or something as unforseeable as the one in SOTN both deserve to be marked as spoiler.

i never knew about the thing in SOTN and had my mind blown away literally last month when i played it. so i'll make damn sure nobody else gets spoiled about it.

Well. I wish you good fortune in your battle for mirror castle secrecy.

It’s inverted, not mirrored. 🤓

I should have known I'd be called out on this. I thought about it while I typed it. But couldn't be bothered to correct myself since I already applied the spoilers tags.

Sloth overwhelms me.

I fully respect this. You have a kicksss day, sir/ma’am/s’ma’am/other/undefined.

That's something a miserable little pile of secrets would demand.

The correct answer, when it comes to the reaction described in the gif.

I wouldn't say it's one of the longer games out there, but you will think you are about to finish (or you just did) when you are less than halfway from the true ending.

Indeed. The 1st game that came to mind seeing this post.

Took too long to scroll to SOTN. They practically invented the 2nd game hidden in a game trope.

Well ok, maybe Ghosts N Goblins did with their whole "just play the game again duhhh" ending.

If only they can fucking put it on steam already >:{

I have the rest of the Castlevania games, but it's not a complete collection yet.

There's a recompilation (aka native port) for PC, should be available now but yeah it would be nice if they would put it in a collection at least

I went and bought a used PS1, JUST so I can play that one game only.
