DOWNLOAD HERE: https://github.com/Joshhhuaaa/EnhancedSC/releases/tag/v1.4a
As with all EnhancedSC updates, a fresh install of the game is highly recommended.
If you are new to EnhancedSC, it's a comprehensive mod for the PC port of Splinter Cell 1 that aims to drastically improve the base game. It's made by fans, for fans. EnhancedSC introduces native controller support, many bug fixes, MANY quality-of-life improvements, and even re-introduces cut content back into the game. It also includes all DLC and all pre-existing essential fixes for the game. It's still a work-in-progress, but it's in active development.
Here are the complete patch notes for the mod: https://github.com/Joshhhuaaa/EnhancedSC/blob/main/PatchNotes.md
JOIN THE ENHANCEDSC DISCORD: https://discord.com/invite/k6mZJcfjSh
Joining allows you to contribute your own ideas and expertise, as well as stay in the loop for future developments. We are always looking for help, especially if you know UE2 UnrealScript, C++, and/or Ubisoft's DARE audio engine (đ¤).

Modern stealth relies way too heavily on wall-hacks, detective vision, and forgiving vision cones. Chaos Theory made actual environmental awareness and silence feel earned.

As we all know, the DA V1 PC port is utterly terrible - but, I still felt compelled to try and improve it in some ways. First of all, I used a nexus mod to put Sam's full Splinter Cell gear into all levels. Then, using Reshade, enable NVG mode for all those levels and an array of visual FX such as SSDO as an alternative to RTGI without the RTGI drawbacks. Here's a short compilation video:

Does anyone have any information on multiplayer features that didnât make into Blacklists multiplayer?
I remember hearing about it, and itâs evident in the maps.
Anyone?

The first SC game I played was on a Java phone and I was a fan of it, then the first modern title I ever played was double agent on PC and that game looked amazing and ran great too; it felt realistic and modernâŚ
Then as I decided to try other versions on my ps2, I had high hopes and tried chaos theory, the first mission was on a cave with lots of holes and secret tunnels too, I went on circles trying to progress and second one was a ship with lots of doors, stairs + floors, added with secret tunnels leading back to the same floors, doors and more doors, I knocked out every single target on the ship to find the main target, looked for the exit then it didnât finish there, I realised that the target was âknockedâ out; when I was supposed to finish him, so I went back looking for him passing every door, checked different floors on the ship and gave up because I started sweating and I have been fighting the urge to puke from an hour ago but continued just cause I was a fan of the series and wanted to move onto the next mission hoping itâll be less stressful than this ship. Just to make sure I checked YouTube only to see the third mission was on a big ass building with lots of floors, doors, holes and wallsâŚ. Again! I gave up there itself and deleted it directly from my ps2.
High hopes left me with disappointments.
Double agent PC also had lots of levels like this but it was less confusing, maybe because of the graphics ?
And what about double agent PS2 ? Iâm thinking of trying it on a ps2 emulator.
And what about chaos theory PC version too?

Hey everyone!
Just wanted to share some exciting news. A friend and I have been working behind the scenes on bringing Splinter Cell: Blacklist multiplayer back online.
Our goal is to make the experience as simple and seamless as possible. Soon, you wonât need the Echelon 5 Launcher anymore. Instead, youâll just create an account with us, drag a few files into your Splinter Cell: Blacklist game folder, and youâll be ready to play.
Hereâs what you can expect:
â
No more 45-minute session resets.
â
Private lobbies will be fully open.
â
Invite system will work properly.
â
Public matchmaking will be available again.
Weâre still hard at work, so weâre not ready to announce a release date just yet. We just wanted to let the community know that progress is being made, and weâre committed to making the setup and online experience better than ever.
Weâll continue sharing updates as we get closer to launch.
Thanks for sticking with the game and keeping the community alive. We canât wait to get everyone back online.
Stay tuned. đśď¸
Oh and hereâs the discord for updates https://discord.gg/5zqCbBHcj

I couldnât experience those games because I wasnât even born yet, (Iâm 2006) and so growing up, I first got introduced to conviction. I thought it was still a good game though probably because I was just a little kid. (I still like the game till this day.)
when Iâm able to, Iâm definitely going to play the other games though.

25th Anniversary of Splinter Cell next year.
I wonder if Ubisoft will follow similarly with what is happening with Ghost Recon this year for their 25th anniversary.

So I was replaying DA Version 1, and I noticed one guard keeps spinning around right before I grab him, he's the one in front of the open cargo container in Iceland. I figured that maybe the steel container floor is giving me away, and because there's no sound meter, I couldn't tell, so I climbed the cargo container, jumped off and landed right behind the enemy (on the snow), and he didn't hear a thing.
If the enemy AI is programmed the same as CT for example, then that makes the HUD removal even more stupid. This also leads me to wonder, is ambient sounds a thing in the game? It could be given how inconsistent enemy AI is in this game.
Would love to everyone's thoughts on this, and the enemy AI in this game in general.

I'm trying to decide between Splinter Cell: Double Agent and Splinter Cell: Blacklist, both of which are on sale on the Xbox Store.
I don't have any experience with the mainline Splinter Cell games. The only ones I've played were the Game Boy Advance and Java mobile versions back in the 2000s.
I'm torn on which one to buy first. Some people say Double Agent is the better game, while others recommend Blacklist. I am aware Chaos Thoery is the best one but I cannot find a way to play it on my xbox 360.
Which one would you suggest I experience first, and why?
