In 1996, Ann Nesby released her debut album “I’m Here For You”. From that album came her single “I’m Still Wearing Your Name”, which reached no.21 on the Billboard Hot R&B chart. There is so much Soul in Ann’s voice alone that anything she sings will definitely have Soul in it. Her vocal delivery has always made her stand out no matter what.

In 1994, Anita Baker released her song “Body and Soul” from her album RHYTHM OF LOVE. It is easily one of my favorite recorded vocal performances of hers. Chart wise, it reached no.36 on the Billboard Hot 100 and no.4 on the Billboard Hot R&B chart. This song is truly special and timeless.

Sylvester Stallone's younger brother Frank and the vocal group Valentine appear as the street corner singers. They appear in the 2nd film as well performing "Two Kinds of Love".
