She's not fun to fight sometimes.

Why are her tilts even longer and have better combo potential than Mario?

WHY DOES SHE RUN FASTER THAN DIDDY KONG AND MARTH!?

her smash attacks while laggy have GREAT range and damage.

Her nair is complete BULLSHIT.

I can escape a G&W nair combo more than this lagless nair.

Why does she always spam nair and bair so MUCH?

Her up-air combos and kills more often than Mario's (Yeah yeah I'm a Mario main but even then she's annoying).

Doing the same nair combo over and over again is not hype and I hope you know that.

another part I hate is her PROJECTILES.

the third to last hitbox is the detection range for her NEUTRAL B.

every Palu just spams neutral b.

Offstage? Neutral b.

In neutral? Neutral b.

Advantage? Neutral b.

And why is her side b so BIG!?

that shit's like one of the best ledge trapping devices in the game.

Finally her counter did NOT need a reflect option for a character that spams projectiles on you.

Overall I don't hate her or despise her.

I mean I play her sometimes but she's still one spammy ass character.

please nerf her in the next game but not to like Smash Ultimate Rosalina levels.

I personally like playing against Roy because from my experience, I haven't found a campy Roy main (I hope it keeps this way). I like his aggressive and interactive style, as so as the counterplay for both myself and Roy. Roy might not be fun for everyone else, but that's just my opinion. What about yours?

Seriously off stage you only have back air, down air (witch is sketchy). Other kill options are up air and high percent lunge/tipper/smashes and forward tilt (if high at ledge).

Not much to do edge guarding wise, edge trapping isn't even great. Corrin is all about winning a bunch of neutrals basically aka being good. Plus barley any true combos and you have to adjust your string depending on every situation.

Corrin is good I just feel like the skill required to be good is higher than many other characters.

Any thoughts? Wish faster ground and air.

You’ve probably had this happen to you. You post a cool clip somewhere online. Then, no matter how awesome or generally praised it is by the majority there’s always that one person or few party poopers who just have downplay it for some reason or point out how “unimpressive” it is.

For example, “oh my god you got hit by literally every single scrub check in the book”. Mind you, this was from a clip of me getting demolished by a worthy opponent. So, even when it’s a clip of you literally getting bodied you’ll still get these types of reactions.

Who the fuck actually talks like this? These are the same mfs who just scream SKILL ISSUE or “git gud” instead of providing real advice.

There’s something about using Reddit, being anonymous online, and this cursed game that just prods people to act smug and type the cringiest shit man. It’s beyond irking. It’s why I refrain from interacting with the community too much.

For a little context this Ridley had teabagged 2/4 rounds prior to this one, and Final Smash meter was in his preferred ruleset. (+ rather than going off stage to try and punish me he just kept spewing fireballs instead)

I play 3 games, one Marth who I end up winning and felt good about but quit right at the end. Then I match a GnW on a level from a Zelda game with 1 stock and the map allows them to sit on the main platform and just spam frying pan and your stuck unless you swim over to thenother platform. I'm at 280% with Corrin and some how up ait him to death and win didn't realize it was only 1 stock. Rematch the same idiot, plays like a pussy, about to go to Sudden Death but he buckets me and I die at like 45% some how with 1 second. Then a K rool player, always camping amd just doing the same crown then ball pattern. Way better but they end up getting some lucky ass shit un techable off the wall of the platform, put play them the entire game, basically died 3 times to some bs all my kills took skill.

Why do people play like such pussies? Whats the point it's not fun. Don't they wanna get better? Or just camp spamming the same thing all game every game?

It's to the point I just play Arenas. It's more fun, people actually play not try some boring campy bullshit and are trying to get better.

Crazy, GSP does nit correlate to how good you are at all. I suck and will have like 12 million with someone I don't even know how to use. Then someone I have some practice with i'll go all the way down to like 5 million eventhough I'll win 4 out of 5 games.

GSP makes no sense and people in Quickplay are just annoying trying to cheese everything with some bs map and rules.

I should just install some mods to troll people that'll get me banned, i mean fuck it at this point.

If this game is no longer fun for you, and is too centered around winning/losing, it's not worth playing anymore.

This game is a waste of time. It's fun to play occasionally with friends or at a tournament if you really enjoy that, but if it's making you more angry/upset than happy quit while you can.

Competitive can be so toxic especially online. No one plays for fun anymore. It's all about picking a broken or lame character and doing anything to win. There's no real connection with your opponent. They t-bag and spam when they win, or disconnect when they lose.

The online connection is terrible, the playerbase is cancer, and what's the benefit of all the hard work and practice? Landing a cool combo? Then what? Wasted hours playing a game that doesn't even matter.

This may seem overly doomer but smash is meant to be fun and for a lot of lower level competitive players that was lost somewhere along the way. Please quit if it's not fun. I need to quit. This game is depressing

i know this is a skill issue you don’t need to tell me, but man he’s just so unfun to fight.

every attack he has does a minimum of 10% if not more so getting hit by literally anything is super punishing, his attacks are deceptively hard to punish because of how big they are, you can’t edgeguard him if your playing a brawler because just like falcon he will uno reverse you 100% of the time with his command grab, and side b has maybe a 3 frame window to tech it online otherwise your eating a down tilt and possibly dying.

especially for me who plays light characters, it’s just an unfun juggling act of trying to guess which unreactable burst option he’s going to pick and trying not to die at 70% from center stage. it’s like falcon but somehow less fun

It is insane how much easier it is to win with a projectile in this game. even if the character isnt necessarily better, it is just so much easier to win games because people straight up dont know how to deal with them. When I fight characters like Link, snake, and characters whos projectiles you can use against them; it fucks them up SO badly. So even people who main characters with projectiles have no idea how to deal with them half of them time.

Winning a lot more games cause ive realized that most of these people actually just dont know what they are doing with projectiles so they also dont know how to fight them and ive finally been stomping characters like toonlink who i struggled with a lot because Ive learned that I can genuinely just make my entire gameplan surrounded by them fucking up with the bomb

I’ve noticed a few times on Tiktok where there has been a few Sonic players who think that they’re the shit. Not naming names since I’m not sure if that’s against the rules. Or you probably already know who I’m referring to. But they say stuff like “I’m the best Sonic player ever”, “No one can play Sonic better than me”, etc. It’s been slightly annoying and that’s partially the reason why I’m not a fan of most Sonic players since they always flex and say that they’re the best player ever.

I’m so serious when I say I had a wolf player spot dodge up smash twice in a row and I run in to punish and he… still escapes? Like why tf does my pits jab have more lag then wolf up smash. I don’t think punishes are a real fucking thing in this game, and theres just no risk to this game at all. If someone throws out an option, and you shield it or dodge it, there’s like 4 solid options they have:

1. Instantly jump out of supposed end lag

2. Instantly stop dodge

3. instantly roll either left or right

4. keep fucking mashing

all of these feel unpunishable especially when mixed up, what this results in is people genuinely just throwing shit out until something hits, that’s the game. Not to mention all the carried mfers in S tier that throw shit out much better then everyone else throws shit out. All of the points I mentioned above are what people do in disadvantage too, it genuinely feels like unless it’s a confirmed follow up on which they can’t get out of, your not getting anything else off of that interaction
