Hey, im fairly new in siege and im looking for someone that would be down to teach me the fundamentals and help me grasp the Mechanics of the game.

Love playing both. You bring utility and they’re both so flexible which is how I play SoloQ.

I use 38/38 mouse sens on 400 dpi is that good because I have had no problems so far but everything I see says I should lower it.

I’ve been playing siege for a while, and a bounce around high Emerald to Plat, and i feel like if i had a consistent stack i I could be a lot higher. I guess I just want to know if anyone has any advice?

Most pro players have signature operators, and I want my signature operators to be vigil and nokk. Would this place me into an entry fragger role, where I would also play other entry fraggers, or would this make me a flex? I just really like the playstyles of vigil and nokk and would play roles like theirs but idk what role this would be.

My boyfriend is trying out siege for the first time, they like it a lot and show exceptional improvement compared to other extremely new players Ive seen. what are some ways to help him learn? he is extremely bad for obvious reasons. he has trouble understanding litteraly everything. I'm trying to help but it isnt working T^T. what are some tips to help him gain knowledge at the very minimum the fastest?

FFA plays such an important role in improving your game. If you’re new, id definitely recommend playing 3-5 ffas per day. Can you get good aim without free for all, yes, but free for all does so much more than just aim. Free for all doesn’t just make you aim better, but it allows you to get better at understanding sound que, recoil control, learning maps, common angles and most importantly for me, staying composed in fun fights. Honestly, a lot of you lower ranks don’t even necessarily have bad aim, you’re just lack so much composure when it comes to gun fights. FFA can give you so much confidence in a way that clear house can’t, clear house you’re clearing bots, which is fine if you just want to practice aim and clearing corners, but what clear house doesn’t do is give you a big sense of confidence that ‘okay I’ve just killed 15 real players in this FFA’, and that confidence subconsciously translates in game and you’ll win so many more gunfights.

I am plat 5, winrate of 50%, it would seem fair, but I was thinking about the concept that I am just part of 20% of the team, and I can’t really control 80% of it, so maybe things would be different in a real organized team with the same people?

I know about the concept of defending the greater areas adjacent to the site, trying to have control of as much space as possible, because it wastes the attacker’s time which is the most valuable resource that the defenders have. I know where to aim, I know to repeek in a different stance or not repeek at all in certain situations, I know how the site should be chosen based upon the bans, for example if kaid isn’t banned then it’s good to pick church/basement in club house, I know that drones should be used as if they were my operator and peek with them as I would with my operator because they are essential and info is king in this game.

And knowing all of this, I feel like I should at least be a bit above platinum 5, not saying I deserve Diamond, but at least plat 1/emerald, but it’s like the game knows what teammates to give me so I can win or lose specific games.
Some teammates I get have no game sense at all, and I think they are aiming with controllers, maybe they actually are?

I tried doing some research before hand but everything I'm seeing is when she used to be really good? It seems like she's gone through a bunch of changes to her gadget and weapon(s) too so I'm honestly clueless as whats up to date for her. For context, I played a bit like 5 years ago and I'm now returning.

What does her overdrive even do? Is the entire character just pinging attacker gadgets?

Should I be running shotgun + smg on her?

Not sure if this is the right place to discuss operator reworks. But would it be better if Thermite’s shotgun is replaced with the supernova shotgun as it provides greater range on attack.

im new to siege and i just unlocked unranked and i wanted to ask should i practice more in quickmatch or start playing unranked. Right now im pretty bad at the game with limited map knowledge and a kd im guessing is somewhere around 0.5.

I've played shooters all my life but damn siege really did humble me, i've played cs2 and valorant at decent elo's, i thought the transition between games wouldnt be that hard because i have thousands of hours in tactical shooters damn was i wrong.

I placed silver 3, i basically got carried by my aim but the amount of maps and their complexity is so daunting to learn, im basically running around like a headless chicken, i dont know the common spots to pre aim or to hold from, i dont know where the stairs are, i dont know how to room outside the one i'm in looks like and im basically waiting for footsteps to actually start doing something on the map.

Because i played other shooters i realise how bad i aim its so frustrating lol, if you guys have tips on how you learned the maps as a new player or more general tips i can apply on any maps. I'd love to hear them !

Started playing r6 recently and realised everyone uses extremely slow sens, I’m currently on 6cm/360 and genuinely don’t understand how can anyone play anything else. I just hit emerald and don’t think I’m a great player but I tried professional sens and they just feel ridiculously slow… do I just keep doing what I do or lower my sens but even like 15cm/360 felt ridiculously slow

Struggling in diamond/champ lobbies. I solo queue and I struggle to keep up with Diamond players. How can I break the skill gap between emerald and diamond/champ? What are some good ops for solo queue?
