During our Japan trip I had the privilege of photographing Subaru! Such a beautiful, majestic pup.

We were walking during the day and he got a around a meter or three feet away from this brave bunny. It was unexpected because we only see them around at night and was so close.

UPDATE: Thanks all for the feedback on this post. We did contact the breeder and they are ok with us rehoming her on our own given the costs of adopting her and the logistics of getting our pup back to them. They are open to sharing their contact details with whoever adopts our pup so they can be in touch with the breeder for any help. We are going to hold onto her as long as possible so that we can properly vet the right new owner for her. And for those who are suggesting rescues we are absolutely not considering that as an option.
My heart breaks to write this but my husband has started developing severe allergy towards her fur. We’re looking to rehome her. We did get her from a breeder and we’re looking for a good home for her next. We only had her for a couple of weeks. Any idea how we can do that?
Not to be money minded or anything. We did pay around 3000$ for her and we don’t want her to give her up for free because we want her to go to someone who can actually afford to take care of her and give her the same quality of life we imagined for her. Any suggestions?
(Literal tears in my eyes rn she’s such a good girl)

This is Kaka. He’s only 4 years old. He’s the bestest boy, and truly one of a kind. I’ve had dogs before, but Kaka has the biggest, goofiest personality out of all of them. He is a true cuddle bug and a total couch potato (which is pretty funny for a Shiba Inu!).
His absolute favorite activity is roasting like a puptato in the sun and rolling around in the grass until he’s covered in dirt. If there’s one human food he would do anything to sneak, it’s definitely pizza. He managed to knock a slice off the counter when he was just a little puppy, and honestly, he has never looked back lol. Whenever he gets super excited, he lets out this hilarious cow-like moo and just hops around the house like a bunny.
Kaka has already been through so much in his short life. When he was only 2 years old, he had to go through a major patellar luxation (kneecap dislocation) surgery. It was a long recovery, but he was so brave. And now... this happens. He’s only 4, and we just got back from the veterinary neurologist with a devastating diagnosis. My sweet boy has been through so much, and all I ever wanted was for him to live a long, happy, and peaceful life.
I got Kaka not long after my mom passed away from cancer. He was the little furry angel who truly got me through some of the darkest, hardest times of my life. The thought of losing him is completely tearing me apart. According to the neurologist, the best-case scenario we have left together is about 2 to 3 more years.
My heart is just so heavy with grief tonight. Please say a little prayer for Kaka and me if you think of us. ♥️

Hi everyone. This is Romi! We bought him from a breeder in Korea and shipped him to Texas. When he came I realized the puppy was not socialized at all, ears full of debris, and honestly malnourished for an 8-month puppy (he was below 5lb and was extremely food-driven).
Please don’t repeat my mistakes when you purchase a “mameshiba”. They will do anything to keep a puppy small regardless of temperament. They also lied to me about his temperament, claiming they socialize all their puppies on their social media, saying he's affectionate around people. I will need to send him to a trainer because he’s reactive to other dog barking and has been anxious around strangers.
He’s made so much progress in the last 5 days and knows SIT and DOWN within 2 days of teaching each command. No separation anxiety and made only 2 potty accidents so far. Maybe it's just my bad luck, but if you're looking to buy from Louismong, PLEASE DON’T SUPPORT THEM.
I felt so sad about his condition but there’s nothing more rewarding than the feeling when he bonds with me and gets better at adjusting everyday 🥹 His doctors told me I did the right thing by rescuing him from that place. I think my baby would agree too.
UPDATE: we socialized him REALLY hard the first week and let him meet as many strangers/dogs as he can. He is a certified good boy now! Someone even said he’s the most well-behaved shiba he’s ever seen! He loves cuddling and getting belly rubs. Also he’s gained a lot of weight and looks like a healthy pup now. Thank you all for the advice.
