Hi! My family and I are moving out of state to the area and I was wondering if anyone had any reviews for the Avalon San Bruno or any complex in the similar in the area?

I'm moving from a small suburb for a job at Google's San Bruno office. I'll be in the office 3 days a week, have a car, and my budget is under $3,000/month. I'd prefer to live alone in a 1-bedroom if possible.

I'm looking for advice on:

• Which cities or neighborhoods would you recommend?
• What's a realistic budget for a decent 1-bedroom?
• How long of a commute should I expect?
• Any areas I should avoid?
• What websites or apps are best for finding rentals?
• Is it worth living in San Francisco, or should I stay closer to San Bruno?

Hey, I am a new grad working at Youtube starting the end of June. I have been looking for apartments for rent starting that time. So far I have not got much luck. My budget is around $2700 for a studio/1b1b. I prefer places close to the office as I will not have a car. However I still plan on getting a scooter, so I can still manage a bit further distance. Does anyone know if Brow Art 23 in Tanforan might be relocating now that Tanforan is closed? They’ve been the only place I trust to thread my brows for almost a decade.

Heartbroken to see they were closed in Tanforan, but it makes sense. Hoping they relocate because their talent is unmatched :( looking for recommendations!!

My boyfriend (45M, currently lives in the EB) and I (38F, I currently live and work in SF) are planning to move in together and are considering San Bruno. I have a son (7 years old), who goes to school in San Francisco. I’ll work to keep a lot of his current friend relationships (and he will also continue to have time in SF with his dad, 50/50 custody), and I also want to build some community for him if moving to a new city.
