Quinton Veilar, retired member of Emberwatch, Slayer of Ancient Dragons, spends his old age telling stories in a tavern. After he and his companions have saved the City of Iriesall, it seems that the people are determined to destroy it themselves. Between the war with the underdark, a terrorist insurgency in the undercity, and the oppressive reign of Queen Beirona and the Orders of Sybril, there is little peace to be had. But there was peace in drink, and sharing stories with friends at the tavern.

You will create a  level 3 character, 1 common magical item, 1 uncommon magical item who was a former apprentie of Quinton Veilar or a similar relation.

Players will have all of the 2014 wizard's of the coast official content to choose from. I am familiar with quite a bit of 3rd party material and using those options can be discussed during our session zero or on our discord server.

There are a number of my personal homebrew classes that will be available as well, such as

Occultist, Wrestler, Gunslinger, Mage, Witch, Daredevil, Alchemist, Dancer, Wyrd Blade

My party of 4 are looking to for a dm, we have characters in mind that have more of a redemption of villains vibe! We’re hoping for someone who matches our enthusiasm, creativity, and love of the game!

Our main priority is story building, character development, and feeling apart of the world. Combat is important but we’re hoping story telling + roleplay is the main focus. Especially bonding with fellow pcs and NPCs. Twists, turns, hopelessness, and times of great wins are really what we’re’ hoping for.

Setting wise we are hoping fantasy, along with something homebrew rather than straight from a book. Also definitely someone who uses homebrew races. Feeling up for almost any storyline! Hoping to keep it 5e for familiarity! (2024 or 2014) hoping to start at minimum of level 3, maybe 4 :)

Game style: It's really hard to say since it's a unique setting. It'll be better to ask the GM if you get accepted. I'm a player in the forming campaign trying to find others.

Summary/Intro: The lands of Westeros have been at war with each other since the first Kings rose from the mud. Even now, one Kingdom finds any reason to war with another. Since the fall of Old Valyria, the free cities of Essos have been at war, as well. Always on and off. However, there is a cloister. An alcove. A nest of dragons. On Dragonstone, the Targaryens are the only remaining remnants of Old Valyria. They chose seclusion and peace. That is, until the young and bold Sons & Daughters of House Targaryen (The players) decide that dragons and fire are not the only inheritance due to their noble House. There are several dragons that call Dragonstone home. This is the only place where the mighty beasts feel a sense of familiarity with their ancient home, which is now destroyed.

Words from me: I'm a player in this campaign, and we need 4 others. It's really bare-bones at the moment, but this is the basic premise. The GM may change some of the intro, but this is what to expect. We'll all be trueborn sons or daughters of the Targaryen family on Dragonstone with our own dragons. In this timeline, Aegon never conquered the Seven Kingdoms. The GM and I were thinking it's somewhere in the time period of House of the Dragon, but other than that, it's a completely alternate timeline all about the party.

I run a weekly level 20 combat gauntlet designed to help players learn high-level D&D mechanics in a fun, low-pressure environment. Each week features a new encounter with a rotating group of players, and you can bring a different character every session, try out new subclasses, and see how different builds perform in tough fights. We use 5.5e rules with 2014 subclass compatibility, and characters start at level 20 with one Legendary, two Very Rare, and one Rare item. Encounters rotate weekly so you never fight the same thing twice. No campaign commitment, no pressure, just good combat and good company.
