Would be so cool if they took requests, I’ve been considering getting a piece to represent Satellite since I was a kid but I’m always stuck between wanting lyrics and an image.

I’m making a decal for my car that’ll be the heart fist and then a short line or lyric that screams Rise Against without actually putting their name. I’m stuck with my initial gut instinct to choose “this is noise” and I can’t make my brain deviate from that, but I feel like there has to be something better. Suggestions?

I was reading this unique list this morning and I could recognize Rise Against checking most of the boxes. But item 2 got me wondering if that ever happened to them. I know they changed record labels, but not sure about the reasons. Does any one have more context about that?

I have a theory about why Tim sounds different.
Yesterday I was at the concert, and as soon as the band started playing NOD, he sounded exactly like he did on Ricochet. When I first heard the album, I honestly thought his vocals had been filtered. But now I think I was wrong. His voice has probably just changed over the years, which makes a lot more sense.
Did anyone else notice this, or am I just freaking out? 🤣 I mean, you can’t expect someone to sound exactly the same after more than two decades of screaming and hitting those high notes.

In no particular order from what I’ve been listening to lately:
- “Convincing us we have no choice” from Stained Glass and Marble
- “Gripped by the Midnight Hands”
- “…hang it over my head” at the end of The Art of Losing

I have one of these skate decks (photo i found online, mine is still packed away) its from the black market uk tour, I think I bought it at one of their shows in 2015.

Would anyone know how much something like this would sell for? (Im having a clear out before moving)

The schedule was:
Doors: 18:00
Opener: 19:00 (some very random unknown band)
Rise Against: Scheduled for 20:00, started a bit late (a few mins after 8 PM).

And they finished at around 21:15 - 21:20!

Budapest Park literally stated on the official schedule that the concert would last until 22:00. I wasn't actually expecting them to play that long because yeah, standard headline sets are usually around 90 minutes. But ending at 21:15 is just crazy.
That’s barely 70 minutes of stage time for a headlining act. The energy was great, I loved seeing them, but ending that early when the venue itself said 10 PM is very disappointing.
