I don't comment much on my drawings. I have been so busy with work and life that I've hardly drawn at all lately. It was making me sad to be honest. But when I saw this reference I just had so many ideas of what it could be I had to start doodling and it turned into this.

I took inspiration from some background things, like the skeleton on the phone in the original reference. And I just wanted to draw a cute little dragon so why not hold a dragon instead of a phone! I was just feeling the art deco vibes. I tried to go a bit cybergoth with my colours originally, lots of neon, but a more classical gatsby sort of vibe with a sort of cosmic twist felt right.

I wanted to share because I am happy to be drawing again :)

For hands the first 4 I used tutorials 5th and 6th I just drew stuff 7th and 8th I drew what I saw 9 and 10 are random stuff 11 was supposed to be a self portrait and 12 I traced the body but drew the clothes

The last one had me cracking up, crying, and pissing my pants

Do you prefer the cream color or the black & white filter?

I did this for a school art project, I had to mix to types of animals and make a really exotic one. It was slightly difficult but really fun, my art teacher now uses it as a example for the project, so that was awesome.
