Advice/Question I built the dumbest home value page ever and it got more emails than my good one.
galleryI have a hub on my site that shows my luxury portfolio at the top.
It shows three of my current listings with watch tour buttons.
Below that there is a box that says what is my home worth and a box for instant property alerts.
When someone clicks a listing it asks for email before showing the full video and eb brochure. I thought people would hate that and it would kill clicks.
It did the opposite on my small test.
People who gave email watched the video for over a minute and scrolled down to the private tour button. They did not bounce right away.
Seller side got more clicks on my test.
Buyer side got better watch time.
I do not talk to hundreds of buyers and sellers every year like many of you do. I want honest feedback from real agents here.
Would a page like this feel normal to you if you sent a seller or buyer to it.
Does the email gate for the video feel fair or does it feel pushy?
Would you keep seller and buyer on one hub or split them into two pages.
Just want to make this less gimmicky before I spend more time on it.
Feedback appreciated.
