I am finally done with my full browser port of Midtown Madness 2. What started 4 months ago as a project, today is a full 1:(almost)1 port of the game directly in your web browser. Done with a lot of help from Claude Code, I present to you:

1. Full maps from San Francisco and London, as well as Chicago from Midtown Madness 1
2. All Crash Course missions
3. All races - Blitz, Checkpoint and Circuit
4. True pedestrians with their jump/hug wall animation
5. True cop logic to chase you around
6. All voice lines from all announcers per city including Chicago
7. Weather and time of day changes
8. Original UI and loading screens
9. Original game progression, saves (in your local storage) and unlockables

This is not emulation, it's the whole game recoded in Three.js to run in the browser. Meaning all logic is redone as much as possible to look/work like the original. There will be some bugs for sure, mostly with physics, but hey - MM2 in your browser!

To run the game you need the original midtown2.exe as proof you own the game, it checks the hash to verify before launching the game. As long as you have a backup of the game archived locally or online, grab that file and it'll work. Added this to limit the copyright issues this might face, although it's not being charged for 25 years after it's release (which is more than 10).

In Split Fiction 4th chapter Final Dawn there is a waterbike segment at the end of the chapter that lets you ride across a course with obstacles that demand you dive down into the water and jump out to avoid them while all the chaos and explosions happen around you.

I was wondering if there are any racing games that are like that or similar like that, racing along a course with waves and dives and all the action?

Any recommendation is welcomed

This week on my backlog journey I'm swinging my chain and flying off my bike, playing Road Rash II on the Mega Drive.

Played this briefly back in the day when I was 10, but it was great getting back to it this past week.

So I've just been playing forza motorsports 3 and having a blast. Are there racing games that are similar, but with a vibe like TOCA 2, where there's a pure cheese storyline? I don’t mind grid 2 but horizon 2 pushes it a tad.

I also thought about forza motorsport 2023 and project motor racing but the opinions seem very mixed.

TLDR; Just bought a cheap direct drive wheel and want suggestions on games to buy, not too complicated but not too Arcady.

Hi! So I’ve through the years of playing PC games sometimes played car games. I do play a fair amount of ETS2 & ATS. For a long time I’ve had a Logitech g29 with shifter but sold it a year ago to buy the Hori truck wheel.

After missing racing I bought a new turtle beach velocity one KD3 with the round wheel, didn’t buy a shifter since it doesn’t have clutch pedals. (I know, could have bought the Moza R3 but I got a hell of a deal on this one and just wanted something cheap, simple and easy but fairly good to just have at home when I want to go fast)

Anyways, im looking for suggestions on games to buy. Im kind of in the middle road, i like sim but dont have enough time to go hardcore sim like iracing. I kind of like open world and arcady (not NFS or too arcady) and also kind of like offroading.

Games I’ve played:
WRC games - kind of liked them
Beam NG - kind of liked but boring after a while
Assetto corsa - fun, reasonably complex but not too much
Expeditions - got boring quick
Forza horizon 5 - Fun but a bit too Arcady
NASCAR 25 - pretty good
Project cars 2 - fun but lacks in stuff to do/content
Wreckfest - Arcady but actually fun racing

So hit me up! What game should I buy or try out?

CPM2 VW Golf MK2 HUMILIATES Supercars! | Car Parking Multiplayer 2 Track Race 10

The games called The Street King by Raymond Lin. Ive tried searching for other people that know this game but I've seen almost no one in everywhere has played this game. I've played it beforehand and the Graphics aren't really Realistic as much but it's pretty much in the style of early 2000's Racing games in a sense. Never seen a community for it, there's very little to no content at all and I'm willing to find other people who knows this game. I've designed the car myself
