Amidst all this chaos, I hope GCs realize that neither the Govt nor CJP is on your side.

The Govt wouldn't even allow GCs to hold a completely peaceful protest.

As for CJP, its core ideology is rooted in Ambedkarism, so it will always work against GC interests.

Delhi Police issued an advisory yesterday, and it seems legal. If the police already issued prohibitory orders for 20 July for Sansad March, then why is the CJP creating chaos in Bharat?

Other Is India's Trust in Foreign Media Rooted in Insecurity?

Do you think some Indians give foreign media outlets more credibility than they deserve? I've noticed that whether it's a Norwegian newspaper publishing a stereotypical cartoon of M0di as a snake charmer, or coverage from outlets like the BB-C or Al Jzeera, many Indians, including some on the right seem to treat these reports as inherently trustworthy. Is this due to insecurity, or are there other reasons?

Hinduphobia Some people are supporting jantar mantar hunger strike for Sonam Wangchuk, but after seeing this sentence of Kunal Kamra, do you really think you should support the protest ? Because today they are talking derogatory things about Lord Shree Ram and tomorrow they will start againt Bharat.

Opinion The Burden of a Broken System

India is no longer a country for the "privileged" or the general category .I fully empathize with and understand that certain communities are repressed and discriminated against and need help, but at what cost?

It feels like the courts and governments have collectively decided that it's the sole responsibility of the so called privileged to uplift marginalized communities.

Meanwhile, they don't seem to care about fixing bureaucracy, improving public schools, strengthening law and order, accelerating industrialization, or creating enough opportunities so everyone can succeed. Instead of addressing these systemic issues and expanding the economic pie, the burden keeps falling on one section of society.

The day isn't far when even the traditional path to success will be out of reach for the general category.

Opinion Is the Next Generation Being Set Up to Fail?

What do you think career opportunities will look like for future generations? At home, we're dealing with a rising cost of living and South Africa-style reservation policies. Abroad, immigration is becoming more restrictive, so leaving for better opportunities doesn't seem like a viable option either. On top of that, if you have kids, they'll be competing in an even more crowded job market while facing a much higher cost of living. Where do you think this is heading?

Hinduphobia Are we an anti-Hindu Ambedkarite sub now?

I see a user posting content that state things like savarn are "enemies" and that he is an Ambedkarite. So are we an upper caste bashing, caste war encouraging sub now?

Same Ambedkar who took the following vows publicly and asked his followers to do the same:-

  1. I shall have no faith in Brahma, Vishnu and Maheshwara, and I shall not worship them.

  2. I shall have no faith in Rama and Krishna, who are believed to be incarnation of God, and I shall not worship them.

  3. I shall have no faith in Gauri, Ganapati and other gods and goddesses of Hindus, and I shall not worship them.

  4. I do not believe in the incarnation of God.

  5. I do not and shall not believe that Lord Buddha was the incarnation of Vishnu. I believe this to be sheer madness and false propaganda.

  6. I shall not perform Shraddha and I shall not give pind.

  7. I shall not allow ceremonies to be performed by Brahmins.

  8. I renounce Hinduism which is harmful to humanity and impedes the advancement and development of humanity, and adopt Buddhism as my religion.

Ambedkarism is nothing but naked Hindu-hatred. What is his followers doing on a sub like this which supports political Hinduism? Or the sub itself is an Ambedkarite sub and endorse these views? Do subscribers and mods of this sub endorse these views? If not why this kind of content is being allowed here?

Opinion The Indian Left's American Influence: Too Much?

It often feels like parts of it copy the American left's language, culture wars, and ideological frameworks, identity politics, try to force them onto India's very different realities.

Everything gets reduced to caste and class, while issues like economic growth, entrepreneurship, governance, corruption, education, national security, extremism, and individual responsibility take a back seat.

Is this the Indian left's biggest blind spot, or is there an even bigger one?

General Knowledge Thoughts on the Indo-Aryan migration theory?

Do you believe it? According to the mainstream view, Indo-Aryan speakers ultimately originated from the Eurasian Steppe, migrated into the Indian subcontinent, and brought the early Vedic tradition with them. Personally, I have a hard time believing this theory. I'm curious to hear what evidence convinced you one way or the other.
