Last reminder about the Ceres (EU server) event coming tomorrow. It will be held from 5 pm - 9 pm UTC. Please pull your bastions during the event if you have them. Genudine players are more than welcome to join the Ceres server event if they want to.

Instructions on how to play on Ceres if you're from USA:

Step 1 ▪︎ Make a European Playstation network account. It will ask you for a home address. Put in a random European home address (if your primary language is English, just look up a random UK address and put it in.)

Step 2 ▪︎ Download the Planetside 2 game on that European Playstation account.

Step 3 ▪︎ Once its fully downloaded switch back to your main PSN (the American 1) and you'll see 2 different Planetside 2 games on it. (1 for Ceres and 1 for Genudine) They look the same but you can look at the trophies to tell the difference between them.

Step 4 ▪︎ Login to the Ceres Planetside 2 game on your American PSN, make a character, then you're all set.

The Planetside Events Discord is a community server designed to setup events for both Genudine and Ceres servers. With population decreasing little by little each year it's really important we make the most out of the time we have left on this game. That's why we make events to have fun and gather together with who we have left a few times a year. Events are even like a family reunion to some that have been away from the game for a long time or that just don't have as much time on their hands as they used to. Some people play other games now and only want to come back to Planetside during the few events we have, and that's completely fine. Others are actives that play everyday but love that the events have more pop than the average day. Spacing events out instead of doing them monthly like last year allows people to play other games, take breaks, get rid of burnout, then come back to the game if they want feeling refreshed.

In the Planetside Events Discord, we make polls to decide the event times, dates, and will even listen to suggestions anybody has for ways that we can improve events to make them more fun for you. Or if you just like to chat with other Playstation Planetside players, that works too!

Summer Total War Event – Support Appreciation for Mithril and the Planetside team.

I wanted to take a moment to recognize and thank the PlanetSide team and Mithril for their support of the Summer Total War Event on PlayStation.

​

The devs may not give us updates anymore but they have assisted by helping promote and advertise our upcoming summer event, giving the consoleside community a greater opportunity to come together and participate in one of our largest community driven battles of the year.

​

What's even more encouraging is that they've expressed a willingness to help support future community events in a similar way. They will help with advertising and promoting future events for Playstation Planetside. This form of help coming from the community manager of Planetside is much appreciated by us on Playstation. We will literally take any form of help/support we can get from the Planetside team. This is very encouraging to me and the player run events that I setup to help keep consoleside players having some fun.

The **Summer Total War** event is happening on Genudine server, **Saturday, June 27th from 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM EST**, and we're looking to make the activity stay for 4 hours with **back-to-back Bastion Fleet Carrier pulls** all event long.
