After six months of updates, SSS has finally reached it's first season!
What's SSS, you may ask? SSS is an Arcade survival game, heavily based off of Super Bomb Survival from Roblox. It has qualities of it's own, however :3
New Lobby
This season introduces a brighter, more pop-py colour palette to the lobby. There's also some fun illustrations of fall guys, and a Slime Rink which will persist even after the season ends.
Karrit
The 7th Snapshot, Karrit, is now playable! Specialising in Fall Guys, and some more... out-there stuff, She will make a fine addition to your team.
4 New levels
A new gamemode has been introduced, the Chaos gamemode! This gamemode specialises in low damage hazards, with high quantities of them. Land is finite, so don't get pushed into the Slime!
Bombs & Elements
4 New bombs are here, exclusive to the Chaos gamemode. The blast ball, which makes a harmless, short-ranged shockwave explosion, The party crasher, which moves unpredictably and explodes on impact,
The Dynamite bean, which can't hurt you on it's own, but if depleted of it's health, it will cause a hefty 40-damage explosion, and the Spinumajig, a portable obstacle course which spawns near you and launches you if you hit it's beams.
There's plenty of Stage Elements too, but there's too much to write about here. Go visit the bomb-o-pedia in game; That'll tell you about them!
Volume 1 Stickers
This season brings 18 new stickers to collect. The art is more involved than volume 0, but these can only be found in Chaos maps!
Rewards Screen
Failed at the last moment? Want extra rewards for that 6.0 run? The new Rewards Screen will help you! This gives you extra Moolah, Mastery, and maybe even a Costume Token if you play well enough! It scales with Intensity and Time, so don't just throw yourself into lava in a 1.0 map.
Skills & Perks
2 New Skills and Perks have been added!
Vacu-Grab; A medium range suction which pulls anything in front of you towards you, even bombs...
Jamboree; A celebration which gives you some extra Health and Moolah.
Slime Feet; A slippery slidey perk which removes friction. Not very useful, but it's currently avaliable for free to everyone with over 20 Mastery!
Moolah Pincher; A avaricious perk, which boosts coin-moolah amount by 20%. Good for saving up!
Two of these can only be found in the Mastery Fountain, so you'll have to earn them!
SSS Engine Upgrades
This update brings all the Season 1 Bombs, Elements, and the Rewards screen to the SSS engine, But also brings a new 'Slime' Bedrock Hazard, and new optional restrictions to Skill Usage.
I'm excited to see what maps you 'splosion survivors come up with next!
And that's all
Golly that was a lot to write. I hope you consider giving the game a try if this sounds interesting to you, but even just reading to the bottom is enough for me.
Thank you! Happy 'splosion suviving!
