Recruiting Everyone's acting like DGG to Tennessee is a lock. Are we sure?
Every crystal ball flipped to Tennessee in the last 48 hours, and Nakos (who hits at a ridiculous rate) has his prediction in for the Vols too. The money gap is real; reports have Tennessee's package north of Ohio State's by a wide margin.
But OSU isn't nothing here. Locklyn recruited him the longest of anyone in this class, dating back to Locklyn's Oregon days, and OSU just offered DGG's close friend/ safety a scholarship, clearing hoping to turn this into a package deal. That's not a "we're balling" move, that's a "we still think we have a shot" move.
Feels like Tennessee 70/30 right now. But is there a chance he fooled everyone and this ends with Buckeye Nation losing their minds at 5:31PM EST?

General You can only recruit ONE Ohio State QB in history. Who's the pick?
Saw this graphic going around this week. Stroud, Fields, Germaine, Jones, Howard, Krenzel, Smith, Pryor, Haskins, Miller, Barrett, Burrow. The rule is you can only recruit one of them out of high school, no hindsight, no NFL résumé, just "this is my guy for the next 4 years."
The Script (Beanie Wells and Cardell Jones' show) got into this one, and it was a genuinely tough debate — Beanie went with Troy Smith (Heisman, tougher era, still elite accuracy), Cardell brought up Cornelius Green as a sleeper pick, and there was real love for Terrelle Pryor as the purest freak athlete of the bunch. All fair points, but I don't think any of them is actually the right answer.
My pick: C.J. Stroud.
Here's why. When you're "recruiting one guy," you're not just betting on him fitting one system or one era; you're betting on the total package translating anywhere. Stroud is the only guy on that list who checks every box: prototype size, elite arm talent, plays within structure but can still improvise, and he proved it translates by going in as a top-tier pick and playing at the NFL level almost immediately. Troy Smith and Pryor were incredible college products, but a lot of what made them special (Smith's era, Pryor's raw athleticism) doesn't scale the same way at the next level. Stroud's game is basically "recruit-proof." It works in any staff's offense, any era, any level.
Counterargument I'll give credit to: if you're recruiting to win at Ohio State specifically, Fields' legs give you an extra dimension none of these other guys had, and in big games that changes things. That's a real argument.
Who are you taking if you can only pick one, and why?

General The 11 Warriors Site
New to their site. Great free content. But the message board is pretty terrible. What is with the arrows and graying out peoples comments? It seems so amateur and petty I don’t even understand it. Are those moderators who do this or can anyone just minus arrow comments? It’s pretty bad.

News and Columns Beanie Wells: "Nobody wants to be a Michigan Man anymore" - with Warde Manuel stepping down today, this clip of Beanie Wells from a few days ago hits different.
Saw the news this morning that Warde Manuel is stepping down as Michigan's AD after the culture review basically confirmed the department sat on the Sherrone Moore situation for over a year. And it had me thinking about this clip from a few days ago on The Script podcast where Beanie Wells was talking about the whole "Michigan Man" thing:
"You know, being a Michigan Man where it held so much regard, you had so much respect... well that Michigan Man has certainly disappeared. Now that Michigan Man is a liar, he's a cheater, he's a scammer. Nobody wants to be a Michigan Man anymore."
Feels like he called this before we even knew the AD was on his way out too. Do you guys agree with him at this point, or is that too far?

General Do y’all fucking hear yourselves at times?
Yes, he has things to work on (like not being afraid to run when there’s open space). But I see this sentiment a lot in the fanbase for some reason.
The guy who was a Heisman finalist last season and had one of the most accurate seasons in college football history…is in risk of losing his starting job for a talented but unproven quarterback in TSC (and I love TSC, don’t get it twisted).
I love this team but I can’t handle it when I see dumbass shit like this.

Tickets, Memorabilia, etc. When are the new jerseys dropping?
I read the new team jerseys would be available for purchase sometime in July. I haven’t seen anything else about them. Anyone know when they drop? I really want one for the upcoming season and would love to buy one soon.

General Buckeyes are dominating the early College Fantasy Football ownership data
Jeremiah Smith is once again the most-selected player in College Fantasy Football at 36% ownership.
What’s crazy is this is the second straight season he’s been the runaway favorite despite also being the most expensive player in the game to start the year. We actually raised his price by another $3.0M this season ($13.0M → $16.0M), and he’s still the clear No. 1 pick.
For context, that’s $4.0M more expensive than Cam Coleman, the third-most expensive receiver in the game.
Chris Henry ($6.0M) has also cracked the top 10 as one of the early budget favorites, and Bo Jackson ($11.5M) is already up to the 14th most-owned player.
Curious what you all think:
• Is there another Buckeye the fantasy community is sleeping on?
• Who ends up being Ohio State’s best fantasy value this season? (With Arthur Smith involved I wouldn’t rule out your second-string TE)
Full disclosure: I built CollegeFFB, so take this for what it’s worth. Ohio State was our biggest fanbase last year, and I’ve always appreciated the support and feedback from this subreddit. Hope you all enjoy the game again this season.

General New Uniforms
Just wanted to express how stoked I am that the Bucks brought back the best uniform in football.
Ever since 2006 when they decided to get rid of the grey sleeve, I have been praying every damn season that they would bring them back.
Happy Saturday, and Go Bucks

General The Game @ Night?
Wanted to see what everyone thinks. I’d love to see The Game start being played at night.
Ignore that Fox exists. Ignore tradition. Ignore “fan safety” or whatever excuse they make. I want to see the best possible product. The Shoe and The Big House are most rocking at night. Why would we not want that as fans?
I’m not delusional though, I know Big Noon is going to shaft us again this year and for years to come on this game and many other big games, but just wanted to see what everyone thinks.
