Does this Maid of the Mist snow globe still exist in the gift shop?

So I’m back at my parents’ place for the 4th and came across this snow globe that I got from visiting Maid of the Mist in 2019 that my little brother broke maybe 2-3 years later. At the time I gave up on replacing it because it wasn’t available anywhere online and I wouldn’t realistically go back for at least a few more years. Now after going down the internet rabbit hole and coming across Reddit threads of people actually finding replacements for their snow globes, I thought of giving this a shot. I’m wondering if they even have this same design though? It may sound silly but I’d only want the same thing and if they don’t carry this anymore then I’ll live with what I have. But if anyone is nearby or traveling there and could check if they even have this in the Maid of the Mist gift shop anymore (so if not, I can put this out of my mind), I’d appreciate it!

What's the best bus to take from the Niagara border crossing to Buffalo?

Previous post: https://www.reddit.com/r/Buffalo/comments/1u5xz98/questions_about_trip_to_buffalo/

I decided that I will cross Rainbow Bridge on foot, rather than take the bus from Toronto to Buffalo. I wanted to avoid delays at the border. So here are some of my questions (which are really more like confirmations):

1.) Where is the nearest bus stop at Niagara? I'm looking a Google Maps and it says the bus stop is at 3rd Street & Wendell Way. I'm also seeing another one at Rainbow Blvd. & 1st Street.

2.) Is it better to take the 77 over the 40 bus? I'm reading that the 77 is Express and drops me off at a roundabout near the City Hall, not Ellicott Street.

3.) Getting back to Niagara, is the 77 bus only available at Ellicott Street since it's Express? Or is it better to take the 40 since it stops at various locations?

Is a week on the US side of Niagara Falls worth it without visiting Canada?

My family wants to stay a week at Niagara Falls but not all of us will have passports. Is there really enough to do just on the US side? We're going in late September. The family going without passports includes two preteens.

We've gone to places like OBX, Orlando, and Gatlinburg. Many of the activities we end up doing involve eating out, going to amusement parks, shopping, or drinking. As a whole, we're not typically outdoorsy, go-on-a-hike vacationers.

Thanks!

How can tourists help the Niagara Falls, NY economic situation?

Hi, I’ve observed that Niagara Falls, NY unfortunately falls well below standard in comparison to its counterpart across the river. A few documentaries indicate that the city population has fallen fast, crime is rampant, and this was evident to me anytime I visit.

I’ll be in the Niagara region for a day, I was wondering what’s the best way in general tourists can help Niagara Falls, NY? Where to shop, eat, etc.

Transportation from Amtrak Station to the Falls?

I won't have a car because I'll be taking Amtrak to Niagara Falls, arriving arounf 6 PM and staying at a hotel near the Falls. What are the best ways to get from the Amtrak station to the Falls area?

Is there reliable public transportation that goes close to the Falls and nearby hotels? If so, how convenient is it to use? Also, are Uber or Lyft readily available in the area, and what are typical wait times and costs like?

Question about Crime Rate

We're looking to move to NY. Anywhere in NY except NYC. We found a place in Niagara Falls, but we've read about the crime rate and we just wanted to know if this place listed here is in a bad area.

https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/2814-10th-St-Niagara-Falls-NY-14305/31438334_zpid/

Just how bad is it there? Is it really so bad that you can't walk around at night? Are we talking murder or just break-ins? I just want a clearer picture of what we'd be getting into.

NYSDEC Investigation and Tracking FOILs

With the new NYSDEC investigation into the toxins and radioactive waste on Cayuga island, please share this article with people you know in the area, it's a really comprehensive look at the radioactive materials and toxins left within the Niagara region.

https://web.archive.org/web/20170809025722/http://artvoice.com/issues/v7n39/the_sphere.html

If you know anyone who is presently working with the NYSDEC and trying to get them to look into hazardous waste in their homes or the land around their homes, please inform them they can *easily* submit a FOIL to get the NYSDEC to provide them with documentation of their case.
