Two years ago I bought an Usagi phone charm from the property chiikawa. It’s drawn like it was made in MSpaint, it’s intentionally very stupid looking, and it was my favorite phone charm! They were selling really funny stickers though and they had one other warrior cats sticker that was sold out at the time. While in the artist alley, I happened to buy a chicken plush! The booth itself was selling lots of chicken stuff of their own chicken character, it was a very noticeable booth, on the end cap of an aisle. Their plushies had been bought out so I technically bought a pre-order, but I’m nervous as I forgot to get their name, and haven’t gotten an email about it! Anyone know the vendor’s name?

This year was my second year going, and honestly, last year was way better. I barely went to any of the activities or even the main contest events. I also didn't really like the rave location, lowkey. I liked it better when it felt more underground. Yeah, it was closer to our room, but still... yikes.

And don't even get me started on the hotel room. 😭 We got placed in such a lame section. We barely saw any MomoCon people around, and we couldn't even play music while getting ready because it was so quiet and the people next door kept complaining. We didn't even have it loud at all!

Overall, it was still a great experience, I still haven't experience a hotel room party so wish me luck next year. 😉

I went to MomoCon like 3-4 years ago i think and got this embroidered pokemon t shirt. It was my favorite shirt i wore it ragged till it was finally time to move on lol. I've been wanting to go back and find the vendor but I haven't been able to make it to MomoCon since then. It was a yellow t shirt with a simple small embroidered surprised pikachu face on the chest. If anyone is aware of the vendor or a vendor that sales stuff like that and could link a instagram or a website that'd be super cool. I know there's a lot of similar stuff on Etsy but would like to support the same vendor if possible. I know it's not a ton of info.

i was inspired for a lip syc contest idea but that would be two cosplays for two seperate comps on the same day and i debating if i should do it or just say do one or other but the temptation to do for the versatile is so strong

Asking for a friend's birthday gift- is there a display box you guys recommend for Momocon trading cards? She got (I think) 12 or 14 of the cards this year, and I was wanting to get her something to display them on the wall or on a shelf. Is this something anyone else has done? Any suggestions for an uninformed Momocon friend?

how do you determine whats 60 percent of its been made. i been planning on entering next year and looking at if i use some premade tights, gloves (which will need to be highly customized , and a petticoat (these are a bitch to make and i dont want to spend 300 bucks on crinoline for a petticoat if i can by one for 30 bucks.)

if all like 5 other layers of the dress are handmade does that keep me above 60 percent (since i hand making a wig lol )

I missed the Manga Swap that was hosted on Thursday night at Momocon. I was wondering if anyone knows of any other Manga Swaps that take place in the Atlanta Area? I have a kid who LOVES Manga, and has a million books, and we would love to swap them out for new reading material, especially moving into summer break. Appreciate the help!

So this weekend there was someone dressed as Aizawa carrying around an urder containing Cremains. and this kinda really unsettled me because they kept saying it was real..... Whole urns, at least from my own unfortunate experience aren't really safe and slapping an anime character on it and using it as a prop feels distasteful?
