Time to listen to Sugar!

I can’t believe I received it 2 days before release and it travelled from NY to London.

I know they’ve hinted about an ALIR 20 year tour, but do we think they’ll tour at all next year for Sweet Sad Sugar?

Today is the day after the show. It’s crazy to think I was just out there, at some pool, in the middle of nowhere, with Mayday.

The venue was overall an intimate experience, for a band of Mayday Parade’s capacity. People could easily get super close up with the band if they wanted to. I used my time to relax in the pool and just be in the moment.

Anyone who was there would say that it was a beyond epic thing to be a part of. Everyone was elated. Everyone felt so welcomed and felt like they had a purpose. I remember new fans and old fans all singing along and smiling.

It was my first time seeing the band. I’m a newer listener who only knows the trilogy: Sweet, Sad, Sugar. My favorite song is : Weekend Music. (I’ve always heard of Mayday Parade, but didn’t get into them until they dropped Sweet).

Being there for the live debut of Weekend Music, at a pool, in the middle of a July Summer is, for lack of a better description: the coolest thing that’s ever happened to me.

Everyone there was amazing. Hearing the live debut of Weekend Music was thrilling because that’s my favorite song (didn’t film : was too busy jamming) .

Never thought I’d get to see my favorite band from inside a pool. They really blessed us.

Went ahead and scheduled today off from work , in order to take the Metrolink from San Diego. This oughta be a very memorable show.

I weighed all my options and decided this would be my version of Coachella. Mayday Parade. Saturday in the middle of July. At a pool. 2026.

Reminds me of being younger and seeing all those bands play shows at the beach back in the 90s.

I'll enjoy a song here or there but either their self titled or album or Monsters in the Closet is the last album I liked. Did I just stop growing? Did they do something different? Is their lack of doing anything different the problem? I'm leaning towards I'm the problem but I want to know if it's more than that

Anyone going to see them in Pittsburgh in a few months? Wondering how long/what kind of setlist we’ll get.. have been loving their setlists from the last few shows they played at fairs and hoping for something similar 🤞🏼

If you ordered Tier 2 of The Faceless Comic it looks like they're shipping out now as I can actually track mine now. They also sent the Digital Access in the emails already to read so if you got Tier 2 or 3 I would check your emails.

It's been 84 years.

I know the previous albums in the trilogy have not been the best... but i think this one could be pretty good! Mainly because Lying to Myself has become one of my favorite song right now, but Weekend Music is also good, blame it on the youth isn't a great song in my opinion, but it's ok.
