With the season coming to an end (I unfortunately didn't find anything this year), are there any mushrooms worth looking for over the next couple of months?

My friend who provided spores has since moved overseas so I am back to forest finds only.

I hope you all had a good season! I have seen some nice finds posted here.

Found in poplar wood chip and macracarpa leave covered garden.

Found these growing in my front yard in grass. The second photo is it dried overnight, and the stems have bruises

Beginner forager, first possible ever find after a few months of getting out and searching. found in private wood chip/bark garden. Just the lonesome and a few days after last rain. Is this a sub? And is it too old given its condition? Thanks in advance!

I see lots of posts asking for mushroom ID which is great and I’m all for harm reduction but has anyone heard of or know of anyone that have eaten toxic mushrooms or taken a bunch of mushrooms that were not psilocybe? Ended up in hospital or got really sick?

From all the ID posts it makes me wonder how many people haven’t ID’d correctly and if someone has chowed down on a couple grams of galerina or similar?

Found these at three different spots, so have grouped them in the photos of the ones that were found together.

Reasonably confident, but the aged ones seem a little harder to ID.

Are they all Psilocybe Subaeruginosa?

At the moment all though mushroom season is ending and subs are even harder to find, I'm now looking for aminita muscarias, I'd like to try decarboxylating them and making gummies

Wanted to check all these, believe they are all fine but just checking. And thoughts on when they are aged like the big ones?

Yo anyone keen to go foraging tmr? I don’t know many spots yet but found one online so thought it could be worth checking out. I’m in Auckland-CBD so closer is ideal, but I’m sweet to travel a bit too.

Found this absolute monster hiding with a bunch of equally substantial buddies. Good ol council gardens. Just when I was beginning to think Wellington was done.
