The Triplets

I had a Les Paul years ago as a graduation gift from high school and then I spent the next 15 years battling drugs and alcohol and drugs and losing everything (literally everything from my home, career, dog and freedom. ). I’m coming up on 14 years of sobriety and no longer losing everything to drugs. My family is the most important thing now but damn these guitars are killer!

Got my new Tokai LC136E, with relic look. Ebony fretboad, Nitro laquer, 500 CTS pots, Luxe bumblebee caps. Plays nice, feels nice. Really happy about this buy. What do you think?

mine is a 2015 custom shop custom cobraburst. i love it.

Apologies fist coz i only played the guitar 1 time for 10 minutes and put it back in the case. never took pics of it. pulled these pics off reverb.

plan to give it to my son when he's old enough and big enough to play a heavey guitar like that. the guitar still looks brand new. im the only person to ever play it.

legit case queen if there ever was one.

I don’t ever recall this being on my Studio when I first got it. I’m assuming this can just be replaced pretty easily? It’s a 2024 Studio in cherry sunburst

NGD…2014 Epiphone Traditional Pro Les Paul!

I absolutely love this guitar! Plays like a dream and the coil-splitting capability allowed my thirteen year old son to have his first NGD as well; I gave him my Strat! Also my first Les Paul without a bolt-on neck. I ordered one of those exclusive Sweetwater cases in the vintage brown Tolex and pink interior for its safe keeping. So stoked to have this guitar!

Take a look at this custom Les Paul kit build! Well wen I post this, i was still working on it, now I just need to do the bone nut and a setup. Just to get it out of the way upfront—yes, it’s a kit copy, not a real Gibson, so everyone calm down. I wanted to try something a bit different with this one, so I call it the Joker Edition. I did a custom treatment on the top that I've never seen anyone else do before (keeping that part my little secret!). Anyway, take a look at the pics. Let me know what you think, but please be nice! 🤪😂🤣😂

2015 Gibson Les Paul Traditional in Placid Purple w/ upgrades

-Grover 406 locking tuners

-Brass nut replaced with Graphtech Tusq XL

-Chrome switched to gold

-Cream plastics switched to black

-Peouguard Holeless Pickguard

-Gibson 59 tribute neck pickup

-Dimarzio Super Distortion Bridge pickup

-Fake Gibson custom shop toggle plate lol

The neck takes a little getting used to but I love this guitar so much now. People seem to stay away from these 2015’s but they can be turned into pretty amazing guitars with some small tweaks. Most notably the graphtech nut.

Stolen and still searching - 2003 Epiphone Les Paul Black Beauty

Hi friends.

I know this is a longshot but posting this here in case ANYONE has seen this guitar around. I think about it all the time! It was my first guitar and my first real instrument. I had it for over 20 years, since I was a kid, customized it with Seymour Duncans, replaced pots and wiring, pickguard, knobs, etc.

In 2023 someone kicked down my door while I was at work living on the east coast. They rifled through my place and took 3 guitars, including this and my Martin D18. It wasn't worth a ton but it was my old friend. A gift my dad bought for me and part of a deeply meaningful memory.

While I reported it as stolen everywhere I could at the time, the guitar never turned up. I still look for online it every week. I should have posted it on reddit at the time.

I like to think it's fairly unique so it'd be easy to spot - knobs replaced with gold knobs, tortoise pickguard and I think I had replaced the Epiphone truss rod cover with a "Black Beauty" one. I have the serial # on my phone somewhere.

Anyways, thank you for reading! I accept the guitars probably lost but still cling to hope that it will turn up one day.

EDIT: It was stolen in Southern Vermont. One of the other guitars was sold to a pawn shop in Brattleboro VT and eventually ended up nearby in Keene, BH, then sold to a reseller on West Coast.

Thoughs on Orville LPS-75 (or LPC-75)

Hello everyone! I'm thinking about replacing my SGJ with something Les Paul-like, and I saw a good deal on an Orville LPS-75 (1994, Yamano or Terada model) in my area.
Has anyone had experience with one? Is it worth the extra $700 for the LP Studio or $1,000+ for the LP Standard? I also can have an Orville LPC-75 (custom), but with 490/498 pickups, which is $200 more.
I've listened to a lot of demos – the sound ranges from bad to amazing and LP Custom-like.
I'm attaching a photo so you can see what I might be dealing with. The guitar went through a luthier before selling (frets, strings, etc.).
I was thinking about the ObG, but in my area there's only one with a broken head...

What do you guys think? What do you recommend? Thanks!

Went all in in this DIY Les Paul! Spent ages to carve the top. Love the flamed mahogany back, and love the flamy top! Faber hardware, abr1 studs in the wood, tortoise fret side dots, Crazy brass shaft tuners and custom pickups. Couldn't afford a custom shop so I made my own! Neck is 60 slim. Was feary of doing a burst with spray can, but I think it turned out well! Finish is pretty thin, but I used like 6 cans!

My #1. Bought new back in ‘07 as a graduation present to myself. Spec’d with custom-buckers from factory and converted to 50’s wiring. She still looks ridiculously stunning and sounds killer! 🫶

Can I use my Les Paul classic hard shell case for my Les Paul studio session?

Maybe it’s a silly question, but can I use this same case for both of these guitars, or are the cases made specifically for certain models? Would love to avoid buying a 2nd case

An unusual Les Paul?

Post image

I have been thinking about buying this Les Paul. I played it and it felt great and sounded great. Unfortunately it is a custom shop Murphy heavy aged so it is expensive. My concern is it is a very unusual configuration with P90 and a Humbucker. If I ever fall out of love with it it may be difficult to sell ? Also wondering if anyone has seen a similar configuration with the staple P90 combined with a Humbucker on a Les Paul?
