No other way to describe this hipocracy but I sincerely think that dahiya needs text books for information, folk tales for empathy, a thermometer to read temperature and perhaps psych, neuro and endo consults cause something is just wrong with his immune and nervous response or he is another textbook bigot.

Like the anxiety I face so far away is astronomical where the f is his adrenaline.

Anyway he should never have been platformed.

Advice 👋 Does anyone else feel like being a lesbian makes an already uncertain life feel even heavier?

I'm 21f and I honestly don't know if I'm looking for advice or just someone who understands.

Lately I've been feeling overwhelmed by everything at once.

Career-wise, I'm still an engineering student and I have absolutely no idea what I want to do. Everyone around me seems to have a plan while I'm just trying to keep up. The uncertainty itself is exhausting.

On top of that, I'm attracted to women.

Sometimes I genuinely wish I had been attracted to men—not because I think being with a man would make me happier, but because life would've been... simpler. I could probably marry, settle down, and not constantly think about society, family, or whether my future relationship will even be accepted.

Instead, I keep thinking about everything at once.

How will I build a career?

How will I find a partner?

How will we manage finances, jobs, families, and all the practical parts of life?

What if one of us has to compromise?

What if I never find someone?

I know everyone deals with these questions, but adding the reality of being in a same-sex relationship makes it feel even heavier.

The weird thing is, I don't even want some extraordinary life. I just want a peaceful one.

I want to travel. Read books. Spend quiet evenings with someone I love. Have enough money to live comfortably. Laugh. Cook together. Watch sunsets. Feel safe. I don't dream about becoming wildly successful or constantly hustling.

But everywhere I look, adulthood feels like an endless cycle of pressure, work, expectations, and survival. Sometimes it feels like I have to fight society first, build a career second, and only then allow myself to be happy.

Does anyone else ever feel this way?

If you're older and you've gone through this phase, did life become less scary? Did you eventually figure out your career, your relationship, and your place in the world?

I think I just need to hear from women who've survived this uncertainty, because right now it feels like I'm carrying the weight of ten years that haven't even happened yet.

Queerphobia🤢🚫 Had my first IRL homophobe encounter.

So today me and 2 other straight guys ended up arguing with a coworker.

Dude's around 30-35, recently joined, pretty conservative. We were talking about the ongoing protests and somehow the conversation shifted to LGBT people.

Out of nowhere bro goes, "LGBT people have no right to live."

We genuinely thought he was trolling at first. Nope. Bro doubled down.

The next hour was basically a 3v1 debate. We countered every point(all of them were bullshit) called out all the contradictions, and yeah, it got pretty heated.

For context, we've made dumb gay jokes before like most friend groups, but there's a huge difference between joking around and actually believing an entire group of people shouldn't exist.

The funniest part? After getting cooked for an hour and realizing nobody was backing him up, bro suddenly switched to "I was just kidding." Sure you were.

Lowkey felt good though. First time I've had to defend LGBT people IRL because I'd never met someone that was openly homophobic before.

Don't know if we changed his mind, but at least he learned that saying stuff like that isn't gonna slide around everyone.

Poetry/Writing✍️[OC] One of my poem..🥹

This poem I wrote for a man who was on my front berth in train in May..

Your eyes behind those glasses,

Shines like the moon;

with the depth of a shimmering sea.

The calm of your voice,

can soothes anyone's heart.

The charm of your smile,

can shake someone's core.

To be with you on this train,

Is one of my beautiful lore...🌸🌸

Advice 👋 Has anyone visited the New Delhi LGBTQIA+ Centre? Looking for honest reviews and advice

Heyy, has anyone here visited the New Delhi LGBTQIA+ Centre?

I’m thinking of going and just wanted to hear what it’s actually like from people who’ve been there. Is it welcoming? Comfortable? Good for first-timers?

Would also love any tips or things to keep in mind before visiting. Just want to know what to expect before I go.

Thanks a lot :)

Advice 👋 I need your advice!!

I’ve been to Kathmandu, Nepal, and am back in India. I found my freedom to express my real identity, express myself as a woman, just be free from prying eyes back home in Hyderabad. The fact that this trip really made me attached to reality that now my home feels like jail, making me cry to think about going back home, I just feel like staying here, but I need work to make a living. Overall, the main point is I found my gender expression, which is etched in my head deeply. Please help me make a decision as I still did not book ticket back home I still have a chance to stay back.

Question❓ Which countries do lgbt Indians move to when emigrating?

I live in the Netherlands and have noticed a huge amount of Indians coming into the county in the past few years. Though I love to see it, I secretly hoped there would be some more potential gay partners for me as well. But mostly I see young couples with their kids lol.

It might be a weird question, but I was wondering if you would consider the destination country when moving abroad. I knows there's plenty of Indians moving to Western Europe for example. If you did (or if you'd be willing to), which country would you pick and why?

I feel like the netherlands is kind of overlooked and I'd love to hear your insights! Do/would you take your sexuality into account when choosing as well?

Discussion💬 How’s the Kolkata queer scene? Seems a little dead these days

Title. I was working away from Kolkata. Just returned after many years, and I’m shocked to see the lack of queer events and queer discussions in the city. Even the mega thread here has barely any participation from kolkata people.

Where my kolkata queers at?

Politics The lgbtindia whatsapp page is spreading hate against the cjp movement.

They are literally blaming these representatives for talking with JP Nadda while students are protesting. What do they expect them to do? Keep protesting without talking to the government. Smh..!

If you agree with me, please unfollow this page.

Edit: correction- It was Instagram page, not whatsapp
