The fourth chapter for the Dust spinoff volume 8 is out! Translated by me! Keep in mind I don’t know Japanese in the slightest and it’s definitely missing all the Japanese nuances and definitely will have mistakes if you’ve read the Japanese version but it’s at least fully understandable until something more professional is done! And if that ever happens don’t be surprised if it reads different at spots lol.

Definitely my favorite chapter in the book. The new character and his meeting with Dust just feels like classic Konosuba to me. Definitely had me cracking up! It left me really hoping we get more books because I forgot just how much I love this series!

Was edited by Mkaptain on our discord who is also hosting it on one of his sites since I was running into issues lol. Also he has translated side Combatant will be dispatched stories as well if just want more Natsume content!

Question What hurts the most about what they didn't adapt from the movie?

There are many differences between the Konosuba Movie and the Light Novel Volume.

1- In the NL: Sylvia is defeated with the superweapon.

In the Anime: The fight drags on until everyone launches their attacks in the DBZ style.

2- The NL explores the village of Megumi more than tourist sites, facilities, institutions, etc. However, in the anime they removed it, getting straight to the point.

3- What many fans might consider criminal. And it's the conversation between Megumi and Kazuma about the protagonist's sad backstory and the loli's unexpected confession.

In the anime, all of that was cut out to finish the film.

Because I didn't hear about the massacres on Twitter, I'd like to hear about your experiences and why.

Before anyone says it’s traced: yes, partially. I used a 3D mannequin to block out the pose, then traced over that as a base. The rest of the drawing was done by me. I used it as a reference tool, not to trace someone else’s artwork. And also drawing **Chomusuke was a little bit hard, but I got it** **especially the wings, I couldn’t get that** **looking right sorry** 😞
