ഇയാൾക്കിത് മടുക്കുന്നില്ലേ?

Is anyone experiencing fevers with higher severity than normal this year ? Something similar to, or sometimes even worse than what covid was. Severe fever lasting for days, followed by cough and body pain, leaving body tired for more than a week.

Asking this because most old people are now passing away once this fever comes in, with pneumonia or similar causes. Anyone else seeing this, or just me ?

തൊടുപുഴ: പൊലീസ് ജീപ്പിൽനിന്ന് മദ്യക്കുപ്പിയും പുകയില ഉൽപ്പന്നവും ചീട്ടും കണ്ടെടുത്ത സംഭവത്തിൽ കരിമണ്ണൂർ എസ്ഐ എൻ എസ് റോയിയെയും സിപിഒ ജിജോ ആന്റണിയെയും രക്ഷിക്കാൻ പൊലീസ് ശ്രമം. ഇരുവരുടെയും വാഹനം തടഞ്ഞ നാട്ടുകാർക്കും പൊതുപ്രവർത്തകർക്കുമെതിരെ വിവിധ വകുപ്പുകൾ ചുമത്തി കേസെടുത്തു. എസ്ഐയുടെ പരാതിയിലാണ് നടപടി. അന്യായമായി സംഘംചേരൽ, കൃത്യ നിർവഹണം തടസ്സപ്പെടുത്തൽ തുടങ്ങിയ വകുപ്പുകൾ ചുമത്തിയാണ് നഗരസഭ കൗൺസിലർ, സിപിഐ എം ഏരിയ സെക്രട്ടറി എന്നിവരുൾപ്പെടെ കണ്ടാലറിയാവുന്ന 200 പേർക്കെതിരെ കേസെടുത്തത്‌.

തിങ്കൾ പുലർച്ചെയാണ് എൻ എസ് റോയിയും ജിജോ ആന്റണിയും സഞ്ചരിച്ച പൊലീസ് വാഹനത്തിൽനിന്ന് മദ്യക്കുപ്പിയും പുകയില ഉൽപ്പന്നവും ചീട്ടും പിടിച്ചെടുത്തത്. ഫുട്ബോൾ ലോകകപ്പ് ഫൈനൽ പ്രദർശിപ്പിക്കുന്നിടത്തേയ്‌ക്ക് എത്തിയതാണ് ഇരുവരും. ഇവർ മദ്യപിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടെന്ന് കൂടിനിന്നവർക്ക് സംശയം തോന്നിയതോടെയാണ്‌ തൊടുപുഴ സിഐയെ വിവരമറിയിച്ചതും അദ്ദേഹമെത്തി വാഹനത്തിൽനിന്ന് മദ്യക്കുപ്പി കണ്ടെത്തിയതും.

​എസ്ഐ എൻ എസ് റോയി നൽകിയ പരാതിയിൽ, പൊലീസ് തയാറാക്കിയ എഫ്ഐആറിൽ സ്ഥലത്തുണ്ടായിരുന്നവർ ജീപ്പിലേക്ക് മദ്യക്കുപ്പിയും മറ്റുള്ളവയും ഇട്ടെന്നാണ് പറയുന്നത്. എസ്ഐയ്‍ക്കെതിരെ മുൻവിരോധമുള്ളതിനാലാണിതെന്നും എഫ്ഐആറിലുണ്ട്. എന്നാൽ മദ്യക്കുപ്പി സിഐ കണ്ടെത്തുന്നത് ഡ്രൈവർ സീറ്റിന്റെ പിന്നിലെ കള്ളിയിൽനിന്നാണെന്ന് വീഡിയോ ദൃശ്യങ്ങളിൽ വ്യക്തമാണ്. ഈ ഭാഗത്തെ ഡോറിന്റെ ചില്ലുകൾ ഇരുവശങ്ങളിലും ഉയർത്തിയിരുന്നു. വാതിൽ പൊലീസ് അല്ലാതെ മറ്റാരും തുറന്നിട്ടില്ലെന്ന് കൂടിനിന്നവർ പറയുന്നു. തൊടുപുഴ സിഐ എത്തിയശേഷമാണ് എസ്ഐയും സിപിഒയും പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയതും.

​നടപടി ഇഴച്ച് പൊലീസ്

എസ്ഐയുടെ പരാതിയിൽ അതിവേഗം കേസ് രജിസ്റ്റർ ചെയ്‍ത പൊലീസ് പക്ഷേ ഔദ്യോഗിക വാഹനത്തിൽനിന്ന് മദ്യക്കുപ്പിയും ചീട്ടും പുകയില ഉൽപ്പന്നവും കണ്ടെത്തിയതിൽ നടപടിയെടുക്കാൻ വൈകുന്നു. ഡിവൈഎസ്‍പിക്ക് റിപ്പോർട്ട് നൽകിയിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നും മറ്റ് കാര്യങ്ങൾ മേലുദ്യോഗസ്ഥരുടെ നിർദേശപ്രകാരമാണ് നടക്കുകയെന്നും സിഐ സിജോ വർഗീസ് പറഞ്ഞു. ജീപ്പിൽനിന്ന് കണ്ടെത്തിയ കാര്യങ്ങൾ സംബന്ധിച്ച് രേഖകളൊന്നും വാഹനത്തിൽ ഇല്ലെന്നും സിഐ പറഞ്ഞു. കരിമണ്ണൂർ സ്റ്റേഷനിൽനിന്ന് വിശദീകരണം ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നും വാഹനത്തിൽ ഇവയെത്താനുള്ള സാഹചര്യം അന്വേഷിക്കണമെന്നും ഡിവൈഎസ്‍പി പി എം ബൈജു പറഞ്ഞു.

എന്നാൽ എസ്‌ഐയുടെ പരാതിയിൽ തയ്യാറാക്കിയ എഫ്‌ഐആറിൽ ഹാൻസ്‌ പാക്കറ്റുകളെന്ന്‌ പരാമർശിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്‌. തിങ്കളാഴ്‌ച സിഐ പറഞ്ഞത്‌ ജീപ്പിൽ നിന്ന് കിട്ടിയത്‌ വിൽക്കാവുന്ന പുകയിലഉൽപന്നം എന്നായിരുന്നു. രക്ത പരിശോധന ഫലം വരാനാണ് പൊലീസ് കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നത്. ബ്രീത്ത് അനലൈസറിന്റെ ക്ഷമതയിലും പൊലീസിന്‌ വ്യക്തതയില്ല. സ്റ്റേഷനിൽ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന ബ്രീത്ത് അനലൈസറാണെന്നും തകരാറിലാണോയെന്ന് അറിയില്ലെന്നുമാണ് പൊലീസ് മറുപടി.

These buses are packed beyond capacity. People are standing on the steps, hanging near the doors, and the doors often can't even be closed properly. Even when it's obvious the bus is overloaded, more people still try to get in because it's free. Can't blame them either, most of us would choose the free option if given the chance.

Before Priyadarshini, if a bus was already full, many people would simply wait for the next one. Now everyone just tries to squeeze in.

Another biggest issue is for regular commuters. On some routes, there aren't any alternative line/city buses only KSRTC.

Government needs to come up with some solution for this. For starters, they could consider making only some services Priyadarshini instead of every bus on a route! They could also increase the number of buses on a route

TL;DR: door adakan pattatha vitham aalkaare therakkaan...still conductors kuthi kettikolum (i think they're ordered not to reject travel for any passenger) this needs a solution!
