I read the comics way back before the movies, and there was an aspect to the secret identity that afforded him one of the most interesting angles in comics. For most superheroes the superhero identity is their opportunity to cut loose and be who they really are, but Tony was already a very famous public figure before he ever became a hero.
That meant when making the Iron Man persona he had to make the personalities distinct. You can see this in the earlier comics, mostly from Mantlo, Michillinie, and O’Neal, Tony is as charismatic and aloof as ever, but when he’s Iron Man he’s stoic, brave, compassionate, and no nonsense. He’s pretending to be something he thinks he isn’t. It was written that there was a greater sense of disassociation with the two personalities whenever Tony’s thinking about Iron Man internally. As though Iron Man is Tony pretending to be the man he wishes he was but doesn't believe he is.

Last June, Marvel joined forces with the Atlassian Williams F1 Team for Iron Man: Racing Towards Doom, a special one-shot released with exclusive covers for each of the 2026 Grands Prix. Written by Ethan Sacks and drawn by Greg Land, the comic features a team-up between the Armored Avenger and Williams Racing drivers Carlos Sainz and Alex Albo as they thwart the plans of Doctor Doom.
The one-shot was announced with a scheduled release for comic book shops this October, so ahead of that month's solicitations, Marvel has unveiled the cover for the issue's mass release, illustrated by Phil Noto. Iron Man: Racing Towards Doom #1 will head to comic shops on October 21.

For this trick I do need a family member or friend of commesurate height and shoe size, in this case my son who, fun fact, loves suiting up as Doom even more than he loves playing Johnny Storm in our FF group; Legacy secured (and here I thought I'd just have myself buried in it XD )

So EA announced that they are working on Iron man game in September 2022. Do you still think it's coming? Can it release in 2027?

EDIT 2: There now is one at https://www.reddit.com/r/JamesRhodes/
I've looked around Reddit and can't find a sub-Reddit devoted to Rhodey. But that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Is there one? Seems like there could/should be.

(ETA some clarification.)

I’m currently studying abroad in Chile and using comics as a way to practice my Spanish reading ability. Before I left for here, I was really enjoying Joshua Williamson’s Iron Man and figured that I’d enjoy reading more Iron Man. A lot of the recommendations tend to list Fraction, Ellis, Layton, and Micheline, but those aren’t readily available here. So, out of Taylor, Bendis, Slott, and Cantwell, which would you say gives you the most bang for your buck?

They are doing a soft reboot after Avengers: Secret Wars and they are recasting heros like Iron Man with a new younger actor, who do you think should play Tony

In recent years, we’ve seen Tony’s rogues' gallery make a comeback here and there (though, unfortunately, the Mandarin wasn't included), but I feel like those two have sort of been forgotten.
I know Technovore appeared in Cantwell’s run, but it was just a cameo. I think Vortex has a lot of potential, especially now that the concept of digital universes like eScape has been fleshed out further. Even for a digital horror vibe.
