For anyone who has been curious about the new 15ml bottles for Sorce, I was lucky enough to go to the custom event so I have a comparison!

I’ll admit I’m slightly embarrassed and realize that I probably have a problem. It doesn’t look like much when 5 wands are in a box over there, and a couple more in a spot over here (you get the picture)- but gathered together is extremely overwhelming. I know why I’ve been putting off organizing them. I don’t have a good idea for storing these 10 ml travel bottles, but apparently I keep buying them. Cups sort of work, but only hold a small handful. Can I see your solutions for storing this size upright?

My little cabinet of smell goods holds the smaller bottles in their cute little shallow bins perfectly. These… not so much!

Hello everyone! As a lifelong mythology + epic poetry geek, I have been chomping at the bit for the new Odyssey film and have been rereading the poem in anticipation.

Fellow mythology lovers, what scents have you been reaching for when feeling similarly inspired?

I've been wearing Alkemia's Arabesque (An exquisite blend of sustainable sandalwoods, precious Egyptian kyphi, sweet orris root, benzoin resin, cassia, and blessed spikenard) for reading. It smells ancient and mystical in a way that helps me get immersed in the Bronze Age Mediterranean world.

I posted a bit ago about my frustration with AI slop and drop shipping taking over Etsy and I just happened to read this Wired article - it sounds like a new platform is in the works? I don't think it's fully up yet but I did visit the site it mentions (Fybe), which according to their site takes a firm stance against those things and I'm really hoping they succeed! I thought it might be of interest to this group because I know many of us (myself included) often look on Etsy for indie products. Not a ton is on the website yet but I'll be keeping my eye on it. Do any of you know of any other sites like this, either existing or in the works?

Would love it if you could give me your best true gourmand coffee scent recommendations! I can't get my two favorites anymore (Red River Apothecary's "Raktajino" and Arcana Craves "Honey Craves Coffee Shops") so I'm trying to find something new!

I don't like any other perfume notes like musks, florals, woodsy scents, etc. I am seeking a true gourmand only, please! :) I am really sensitive to scents and find gourmands are the only thing I can wear and enjoy without getting a migraine.

As far as coffee scents go- I love the smell of roasted espresso beans, fresh brewed coffee, really all of it as long as it's coffee scented! Also love creamy/milky notes, vanillas, and cakey/cookie scents.

Wow, it's been a *minute*! Catching up on sharing reviews as I update my spreadsheet with my notes. I realized last week that I'm reaching for the same scents over and over again, not necessarily because I love them, but because I haven't finished my labeling process, therefore I don't know the right vibe of my "blank" scents (I use a numbered colored dot system to indicate the season and how much I like it to help me decide what to wear).

So in an effort to get more numbered colored dots on my inventory, here are my months-old thoughts on a variety of scents!

My preferences are green, clean, aquatic, earthy. I dislike gourmands (I don't like to smell like food), especially vanilla. I love the concept of atmospherics, so part of this journey is to also discover interesting complex scents that are unique and fun.

Oh, and I don't read the scent notes when I'm writing my notes, as I don't want to influence what I think I smell.

Here is my rating system:

1 = destash

2 = prefer it as a room/linen spray

3 = would wear occasionally (e.g. if I'm going for a specific vibe)

4 = will use up the sample and possibly rebuy

5 = full-size worthy

To wear: strong alcohol at first, immediately followed by peach juice; dries down soft and fuzzy; peach is noticeable but subtle; feels fall-ish

Hi all! Ive been checking out BPAL and I was wondering where to start as there are so many choices its a bit overwhelming. I know this question probably gets asked alot in here. I tried to sign up for the bpal org forums but their recaptcha is down.

Im mostly into scents like petrichor, smoke, tobacco, chocolate, wood and coffee, and I am not overkeen on floraly scents at all. I like fragrances that lean into a gothic/dark/mysterious vibe.

If it helps my top 3 scents I own are st louis cemetery by alkemia, and black/avignon by CDG.

I enjoy smoky, coffee, chocolate, petrichor, tobacco etc scents. Id like ones that lean into a sort of dark and mysterious vibe. My budget is 150 so go haaaam if you want to.

Im enjoying so far the smell of wet concrete, antique shops, musky scents. Smell of burning of cigarettes, ykw? A weird smell I really enjoy is how vivariums smell, its a weird jungly earthy scent.

I realized that I have never purchased any perfume twice but I am planning to repurchase Tomate and Loup Garou from Hexennacht because I liked them so much I wanted to see if I still liked them after I grabbed a new batch of perfume with new scents. I know Sixteen92 did a Fahrenheit 451 fragrance several years ago, but I've had no luck finding it in sales and swaps.

Recently got a couple of their liquid lipsticks, I was so excited and after wearing both for a few hours I’m pretty disappointed. They transfer so much and even got on my chin somehow after drinking something. Would using their lip liners help a little? I really like the colors and was planning on buying more. I hardly see any other brands with colors like they offer

I read that they are changing the 15mls to look like smaller versions of the 30mls and I'm confused what they will look like because I only have ever seen photos of the 15ml wands and the new large bottles with the bow

Does anyone have a good link for rollerballs that fit Poesie's 5mL dropper bottles? I'm not a fan of the dropper, fear spillage and spoilage, and haven't found an alternative that didn't involve decanting into a new bottle. Any ideas? ​​​

Hi! I made a perfume at a perfume workshop a while ago and totally fell in love with it, but I'm starting to see the end in sight of my bottle, and I'll be so sad when it's gone. I'd love to find a dupe that I can reliably repurchase (so not one of those buy once then gone forever BPAL releases).

The perfume had base notes of buttery almond/marzipan pastry accord and coffee, and then mid notes of cardamom and a little bit of sugar, not too sweet. Then top notes were sour cherry and apple. I remember using pyrazine for the buttery, nutty notes and ethyl maltol for sweetness, then a blend like Fruitaleur or Tropifruit or something for the fruity accords. The vibe was meant to be "cherry pie at an all night diner" hence the coffee accord.

Does anyone know of something similar? Thank you!!

My favorite tea of all time is Singapore Breakfast from T2, which is inspired by kaya toast, and I absolutely adore the way it smells so I’ve decided I need to find it in perfume form haha
If I remember correctly the tea is a mix of genmaicha and pu’er, with coconut and pandan and maybe vanilla flavoring? I’m crazy about pandan so that’s probably what I’m looking for the most. Any suggestions of perfumes that would scratch that itch would be greatly appreciated 😁 Thanks!
