Hi everyone. My family recently lost my grandmother, and we are planning a small gathering of around 30 people after her services.

I live in a townhouse, so unfortunately I do not have enough outdoor space to comfortably host everyone. We are not looking for a formal event venue or anything expensive. We are hoping to find an outdoor area in Harford County, such as a park, pavilion, open field, community area, or similar space where a family gathering would be allowed.

We plan to cook the food ourselves, so we would need somewhere that allows grilling and cooking equipment, such as a regular grill, smoker, and a Blackstone. A location with picnic tables would be great, but we could also bring our own tables and chairs if permitted.

Does anyone know of any free or very inexpensive outdoor locations where this type of gathering would be allowed? Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Been multiple times now where the 924 lane will be going slow, and as you go around the bend it’s always one of the navy blue work trucks, sitting on the road chatting it up with construction crew. They stop in the MIDDLE of the 1 lane exit ramp, and also on a blind turn. Saw multiple cars behind me slam on their brakes.

I figured it was the crew doing their job, but today it was just one truck going 3 mph yucking it up with a bunch of guys on the other side of the divider as they walked and laughed. So stupid, anyone know if it’s worth submitting my dash cam footage anywhere to make this stop? Not trying to get rear ended because somebody decided to have a picnic on the exit lane. No wonder the construction is taking so long and causes issues constantly.

I am looking to re-plaster and tiling my in ground pool. I was quoted 25,000 from elite pools. I have a neighbor who used elite pools and am not impressed. Does anyone have any other recommendation who are potentially cheaper? Perhaps a smaller company?

Figured this was the best thing for the gull. It’s a safer spot than where I found him, with cover if he needs it, and when the tide comes in he moves himself out onto a rock that remains a few inches above the water line. The little dude is spending his time preening and waiting for his flight feathers to regrow, and I can keep an eye on him from my window in case some dingus decides to bring their dog down there.

What are these camera?
Are these approved by our local gov?

Saw this young ring-beaked gull standing on the shore, at night and alone, and figured something was wrong with them. When I approached the gull it took to the water, as opposed to just flying away, but paddled so slowly that it did not take much effort to catch them. I see now that their wings are all torn up feather-wise and it cannot fly. And their left leg is injured, too, they keep weight off of it whenever possible.

I guess this hurt little dude has been starving to death because it went from stressing to chowing down on tuna fish in just a few minutes. We are in Havre de Grace and the closest wildlife rehab that might take a non-raptor appears to be up in Delaware, which would be quite the journey.

We would appreciate any advice.
