So as we know, Gumball is getting a movie and a new series (some sources say it’s season 7). However, it’s hard to find most information that’s publicly available, so I’m compiling it all into one post, and will update it if we get anything new. Keep in mind that the question marks on dates are because I cannot find the exact day, and the LinkedIn links only seem to work with an account or in incognito mode on a desktop browser.
February 17th, 2021 - Cartoon Network and WarnerMedia announced that a movie is in development under the working title "The Amazing World of Gumball Movie".
April 12th, 2021 - In a WarnerMedia EMEA Kids Leadership Team article, it was announced (or possibly leaked) that Sarah Fell was overseeing projects such as "The Amazing World of Gumball". However, this could’ve been about Gumball Chronicles.
September 21st, 2021 - Cartoon Network and WarnerMedia announced that the movie (now under the working title "The Amazing World of Gumball: The Movie!”), along with a new series had been greenlit and were "coming soon".
January 1st, 2022 - A few people added their roles for the movie to their LinkedIns, such as the producer, Carla Connor, and the editor, Prakash Patel.
February ??, 2022 - Bobbypills begins working on storyboarding and designs for the movie, but they never seemed to announce it publicly. However, you can see people at Bobbypills who worked on it on LinkedIn, such as Aurelie Charbonnier, who actually plays the role of Sussie.
July 1st, 2022 - Light VFX confirms that they are involved in the movie's production at both their France and UK studios alongside Bobbypills and HB Studios Europe in this Facebook post.
August 22nd, 2022 - It is announced that due to the merger of WB and Discovery putting both companies in debt, the Gumball movie along with 5 other projects were dropped and no longer funded by HBO Max, meaning that someone else will have to buy distribution rights in order for the movie to live. I didn't put a link or source because articles and posts regarding this are very easy to find.
November ??, 2022 - Emma Fernando, an employee/producer at HB Studios Europe announces that she is serving as the producer for "Gumball S7".
March 9th, 2023 - After the assistant editor, Gary Bradbury, who had worked on the movie from May 2022 to February 2023, finished his work on the movie, WBD put out an article explaining that they were now hiring another assistant editor.
April 19th, 2023 - After CN posted Banana Joe's version of Beethoven's 5th Symphony from the last episode on Twitter, they said that this was the last song in the series until more Gumball. This could either mean that the movie is still being shopped or that it's been picked up by another streamer.
April 19th (possibly a few days before), 2023 - Storyboarding for season 7 at Bobbypills begins, with many people from the original seasons/series working on it, like Aurelie Charbonnier.
April 28th, 2023 - In response to being asked if anything Gumball related was shown at a WB Animation Studio Showcase, an animator said that Gumball fans are in for a treat, which means that as of 4/28, nothing has been canceled.
May 5th, 2023 - A composer at HB Studios Europe responded to a comment saying that they are writing songs for the new series.
June 13th, 2023 - Studio Soi puts out a post on LinkedIn looking for layout artists, likely for season 7. I can’t find the post but you can find screenshots on Twitter.
June 15th, 2023 - A teaser for season 7 is shown at the Annecy Festival in France.
August 8th, 2023 - A page for season 7 is made on EIDR, along with it's 40 episodes, and is said to be coming this year. This reportedly went public on 2/15, but it wasn’t noticed til people on Twitter started talking about it.
August 15th, 2023 - Studio Soi made another post, looking for previsualization artists. It states that it's full-time for approximately 13 months, beginning in August/September, so we definitely aren't getting S7 in 2023.
September 14th, 2023 - Studio Soi made yet another post, this time looking for key animation (beginning December 2023) and clean-up artists (beginning February 2023).
September ??, 2023 - The VA of Mr Small, Adam Long, returns for season 7, as shown on his LinkedIn.

January 29th, 2024 - Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe announces that they're looking for background artists, almost certainly for season 7 because of Joe Sparrows announcement.
January ??, 2024 - Giulia Chen begins working on season 7 as a 2D key animator, as shown on her LinkedIn.
February 3rd, 2024 - u/Guillesariegos on X announces that he is a 2D animator for season 7.
April ??, 2024 - Aurelie Charbonnier presumably finishes her work on storyboarding for season 7, according to her LinkedIn.
May 2nd, 2024 - Elena Jerez Cordero begins working on season 7 as a cleanup artist, as shown in this LinkedIn post.
May 13th, 2024 - Annecy Festival announces that they will show the making of the reboot (likely season 7) on June 13th.

February 25th, 2025 - @TheFedeBTS on X/Twitter asked CN Korea when they'll premiere what we then thought would be season 7 (now the new series), and they said it's scheduled for October.
January 24th, 2025 - Paulo Scatena announces on LinkedIn that he's working as a technical director at Studio Soi, assisting in production.
January 30th, 2025 - Benjamin "Benji" Wahl announces on LinkedIn that 2D FX work for season 7 (now the new series) would be finished by May.
April 7th, 2025 - Christoph Siemens announces on LinkedIn that his job as a 2D key animator on season 7 will end on June 20th.
May 19th, 2025 - Cartoon Network and Hulu announce with a sneak peak that the new series, titled "The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball" will premiere in 2025. Note that it's seemingly a Hulu exclusive in the US, but will air on CN and HBO Max internationally.
This took (and at times, still takes) a lot of research and typing, but again, I just wanted to try to help some people out since lots of information regarding these projects can be pretty hard to find.

Hello! Hi! What's up? I hope all of you are doing well.
Once again, Hulu decided it would be a lovely idea to drop twenty episodes at once! I guess this is just how we do stuff now! In an effort to give each episode as much breathing room as possible given the circumstances, each episode will be given its own individual discussion thread, just like it was back in the summer. For the sake of your navigation convenience, I made this thread to act as a central hub of sorts linking to said threads.
Before we get to that, I do want to give people a heads up about some policy matters on the subreddit, mainly that we have temporarily reinstated the automatic filter for image and video posts. Any posts containing video or image files will be automatically taken down. This doesn't necessarily mean you broke the rules; it just means that a human moderator will need to review your post first. We expect the activity here to get pretty hectic, so for the first week or so, we just want to have that stopgap to help us better keep an eye on everything, especially since many of those image and video posts are naturally going to contain spoilers.
Speaking of, which, spoilers! Please be kind and courteous about that! For the past four months, we've kind of had it so that any posts referring to material from the first half of the new season that wasn't already in the promotional material would automatically be marked as a spoiler. I have to discuss it with the others more, but we'll start getting more lax with marking spoilers for those first twenty episodes. HOWEVER, in turn, we will be pretty STRINGENT about SPOILERS for this NEW BATCH! This December 22nd release only pertains to the U.S., and those outside of Yankland who want to watch the batch when it officially releases in their country may not want to be spoiled. Please be mindful of that. We'll do our best to mark spoilers if you forget to do so, but help us out, please.
That's for it now. I hope you have a good rest of your day/night, and as I most likely won't be making any more of these official subreddit posts before the start of the new year, an early Happy New Year to all of you! Happy viewing!

I see a bunch of people hopping on the train of making their indie websites on Neocities and such, and I'm in that crowd too. Love seeing people make a page dedicated to either their characters or based off their favorite shows. And since the aesthetic of Elmore Plus in the show matches what I've seen some people make (and is also something I could code), I figured I'd give it a shot and make it for fun.
I already got the idea that the front page is gonna look like this a little bit, but are there any fans of the show who wanna give me some ideas on other things to add? Been going back and forth with some, like a page that looks like Elmore Stream-It or maybe an Easter egg about The Void. But I'd love to hear anything you can think of as well! Thanks!

I've only done the main characters and you can tell my motivation went down as I drew them + my art style literally changes every drawing so... Here we go! This stemmed from how I thought the "I look and what do I see" and "candy hearts and paper flowers" scenes/songs felt a little gumball and Darwin to me 😅 maybe I'm just obsessed with this show and movie but yeah. It's cute right?;

In the episode "The Rewrite" in season 2 of The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball, ROB becomes the new owner of the ROSUM STORE, discovering that the shadow man is actually undercover and the van was used to prevent the VOID from sucking ELMORE by pressing a red button... after which this shadow man gives the divine cloak to ROB and therefore he will become the new SHADOW BOY (being that he is a boy). But I have a doubt: in the season 5 episode, THE EX, ROB at the end of the episode says he hates Gumball with all his heart and now the doubt arises: what if ROB uses this opportunity as the new owner of the ROSUM STORE to try again to kill Gumball and everyone he loves? I can already imagine a scene from the future season 3 of the revival in which Gumball and Penny are walking at night when... Rob pops out, opens the portal to enter the void and throws him in... another doubt: if Rob does badly at his job as a magic item salesman, then the void will suck ELMORE?

Who's got the best fit check in all of Elmore?!
This is only counting normal outfits, not costume changes (like Leslie's fit is his pot, not crazy fashion)
GO!!!

I think by now, you guys have heard the intentional plan, and planned ending for TAWOG. Which would be The Amazing World of Gumball The Movie. But it got cancelled by Warner Bros, BUT. There’s a way to bring it back, and get rid of… This… They agreed that if TWWWOG becomes a hit show, they will make the film. After some research, so. You can loop it on all your devices. Etc. don’t turn down the volume inside the Hulu app, because it will see its background noise or a bot. So just not in the app. And Ben needs this, yo. He needs our help, he’s been trying to get this movie. (Ig Hanna-Barbara Studios Europe whats this too)
So
Don’t turn the volume down in the app
Don’t skip anything, not even the credits,
Loop the play list
(I’m the original coming up with this yo.)
And don’t forget season 3 & 4 of this new show is still green lit
And make sure to spread this! Other apps! Friends! Family! EVERYWHERE!

[Scene: The Fitzgerald house. Penny is smashing laundery vebting, still upset after the events of "The Mess." Polly walks up beside her, holding a drawing.]
Polly: Penny?
Penny: What?
Polly: Why are you angry?
Penny: Because he could have hurt you, okay? He could have put you in danger. I don't know if I should forgive him or not.
Polly: Are you angry because he failed you?
Penny: What?
Polly: Or are you angry because something bad could have happened... but it didn't?
Penny: Polly, what are you saying? That I should just forgive him because nothing happened?
Polly: No. I'm asking something else.
Penny: What?
Polly: Did he mean to put me in danger?
Penny: ...No.
Polly: Did he want something bad to happen?
Penny: No.
Polly: Or did he make a mistake while trying to help?
Penny: I...
(Penny stops. She looks away.)
Penny: Oh, dang it.
Polly: You're not wrong for being scared, Penny.
Penny: I was so angry.
Polly: Because you love me.
(Penny looks at Polly.)
Polly: But sometimes being worried can make you angry at the person who cares about you.
(Penny looks down at her hands.)
Penny: I sound like Dad, don't I?
Polly: A little.
(Penny freezes.)
Penny: Am I really sounding like Dad?
Polly: Unintentionally.
Penny: ...
Polly: But it doesn't mean you're bad.
Penny: It doesn't?
Polly: Dad gets scary because he loves us. Sometimes he just lets his fears misguide him.
(Penny thinks about her father, then about her own shell.)
Polly: You used to be the rebellious why he wasnt bieng fair
Penny: Yeah.
Polly: Maybe now your like him now.
(Penny goes silent.)
Penny: ...You really are emotionally smart sometimes.
Polly: I know
Penny: That's the wierd part.
---
[Later. Gumball lays on his bed sleeping, his phone rings. He reads it another angry message.]
(A notification appears.)
Penny sent a picture.
(Gumball opens it.)
(It is a drawing by Polly. It shows Gumball and Penny smiling, hugging surrounded by a big heart.)
Gumball: ...
(Another message appears.)
Penny: Look, I... I'm sorry for how I overreacted.
Penny: I was scared for Polly.
Penny: But you did your best, honey.
(Gumball looks at the drawing again.)
Penny: I just need some time to vent some steam and calm down.
Penny: But I'll be back.
Penny: Promise.
(Gumball stares at that last word.)
Gumball: " thank you."
(He smiles sadly.)
Gumball: She said she'll be back.
(He hugs the phone.)
Gumball: "Thank you."

I admit that every character in this show has questionable actions at times, but I don't think it defines their personalities. However, I wonder if Darwin and Anais can be considered good individuals. In addition to them, I will also mention that there are characters such as: Alan, Penny, possibly Carrie, and even possibly Richard (I could be wrong), and possibly Rob (he is more of a morally ambiguous character), Larry, they are all among the few who I can loosely call good individuals (well, Rob is questionable), but can Darwin and Anais be considered good individuals despite their flaws and questionable moments in the show?
They both have their advantages and disadvantages (which is what character development is all about), which can be seen in the show itself, especially when they act as a voice of reason for Gumball, even though they can be unpredictable at times, even if they may be supporting characters or take a backseat.
Other members of the Watterson family also have positive qualities, in addition to their negative traits, which can also be loved, but the focus is on Darwin and Anais.
In addition, they can be considered multifaceted personalities, even though the theme of this show is comedy. And multifaceted personalities (of any kind) can usually be both good people and morally ambiguous (but there are cases where they can even be bad people).
What do you think about this: do you consider Darwin and Anais to be good individuals or people in general?
P. S. I could mention a few more personalities or characters in this show that could be good, but the ones I've mentioned (perhaps with the exception of Rob) are the ones that came to mind. I apologize for asking such a question, but I just want to make sure that Darwin and Anais are indeed good personalities, and I'm not mistaken about this (or mistaken).
