YE COLLABORATOR Any potential Kanye involvement?
He’s made amends since November, no way he’s able to book shows, be featured in Polymarket/ NBA ads or any other rare industry opportunities since 2022 if he’s still ‘blackballed’ like some think.
That studio damn well knows Kanye would do wonders for them, maybe trav vouches for him to be involved maybe behind the scenes. Cruel summer film in 2012 directly inspired the sphere or whatever you see in 2026.
Would love to see them work together on films as big as a backing it would get from paramount. If they’re already working on that collab album with Don. He’s probably closer to trav and Don than anyone else in the industry anyways.

DISCUSSION Donda 2 was kind of unnecessary
The title kind of says it all but to elaborate, I really feel like Donda 2 was such an unnecessary release. Donda on its own was a great album and I love the aesthetic Ye brought with it but I think he should've just left it there and moved on to something else, I really wish Donda 2 would've been named something completely differently and with the album ending up kind of ass, it feels like it just ruins the legacy of Donda as an album a bit
Edit: This goes for both the 2022 and 2025 versions

DISCUSSION Day 71- What is the MOST UNDERRATED song on “KIDS SEE GHOSTS” ?
Very straightforward category once again, 1 of 7, all songs eligible, no nones
The previous winning comment was by u/The_Faux_SlimShady and guess what baby? They voted for “Freeee (Ghost Town Pt. 2)”, 31 upvotes doesn’t hurt their vote anymore
Here is some information about the song:
It features Ty Dolla $ign. It was produced by Ye, Kid Cudi and Jeff Bhasker
Written by Kid Cudi, MIKE DEAN, Ye, Ty Dolla $ign, Jeff Bhasker, and Corin Littler. Mixed by MIKE DEAN, Sean Solymar, and Jess Jackson. Engineered by MIKE DEAN, Sean Solymar, Zack Djurich, William J. Sullivan, Noah Goldstein, and Mike Malchicoff
It samples the 2008 song “Stark” by Mr. Chop-Mr.-Chop-Stark/)
The intro samples Marcus Garvey’s speech on trial and persecution-Marcus-Garvey-Speech-on-Trial-and-Persecution/)
Ye interpolates/references “Lift Yourself” from his troll release a few months prior with the ablid “Scoop!”. He does the same with “Ghost Town” from the week prior on “ye” with the lines “Nothing hurts me anymore” and “I feel freeeeeee” hence the name of the song having ghost town pt.2 in the title
The song started out as a freestyle on a beat and was known as “I Feel Free”. This version is unheard but likely to be recorded on may 16th 2018 and inspired by 070 Shake’s reference for Ghost Town
Wife Lover, Chance the Rapper recorded a reference track for the song but the full HQ file isn’t leaked. the verse is fine but the hook isn’t good…
Ye would record another freestyle which would actually make it onto the song with punch ins from Ty. A version with these Ye vocals and Andrew Dawson production exists
Another more energetic Ye freestyle exists but has a good bit of mumble
A fourth unheard freestyle exists but not much is known about it. Consequence has a reference track that he played on live, this version also has different Ye vocals to all other versions so is possibly from this fourth freestyle
Malik Yusef also has reference track
There are 5 Jeremiah reference tracks
The first version with Ty has additional drums not in any other versions
Hudson Mohawke worked on production at one point
An early demo version of “Take Me To The Light” with Bon Iver contains some lyrics from freee
A version with a spliced in Cudi punch-in 54 seconds on was played at the listening party
At least 3 unheard mixes exist after this one before an early mix with a bounce created by combining the acapella and instrumental
There is another version seen being played from Plain Pat's notes app at the album listening party, in a video posted to Jess Jackson's Instagram
