GOG [GoG] u/Space_Yeti- unrailed!

From my friend: "Thank you for donating the game to my friend! Now, he and I can play together when I visit him."

Thanks so much for the game, u/Space_Yeti! I really appreciate it. My friend and I have already played/finished a couple of split-screen games—like Human Fall Flat, It Takes Two, Chained Together, and Stardew Valley (which we are currently playing)—plus some more games I don't remember right now.

Now we have one more game to play, so thank you so much for spending money on someone you don't even know. I hope I can be like that someday!

P.S. English is a second language for both of us, and he is a bit worse at it than I am. (I know I can't prove my friend wrote the first part)

REQUEST [REQUEST][GOG] Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 (Attempt 2)

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share a bit of my story and ask for some help. I’ve been a fan of RPGs for as long as I can remember, and I’d love the chance to play Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

Growing up in a third-world country, gaming wasn’t something I had easy access to. Consoles and new releases were way out of reach, so most of the time I played whatever I could borrow from friends, second-hand cartridges, or the occasional demo disc that came my way. Even with those limitations, I found a genre that really stuck with me: turn-based RPGs.

Turn-based RPGs were the only games I could reliably finish when I was a little kid. I know, funny right. Haha! They didn’t demand fast reflexes or expensive setups. Instead, they rewarded patience, strategy, and imagination. Games like Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest gave me a sense of accomplishment I couldn’t find anywhere else. They showed me that even with limited resources, I could still go on epic adventures, overcome challenges, and feel the joy of victory.

On top of that, RPGs gave me something deeper. I’ve lived with an illness since birth, and in reality, that often left me feeling powerless. But in RPGs, I could be strong. I could lead a party, save kingdoms, and make choices that mattered. The turn-based format let me take my time, think carefully, and succeed despite the obstacles. It was empowering in a way that went beyond just playing a game.

Fast forward to today, and RPGs in general are still my favorite genre. They’re not just nostalgia for me, but they are comfort, meaning, and a reminder of what games can do for people. When I first saw Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, I was immediately drawn in. The art style is gorgeous, the atmosphere looks rich and immersive, and the turn-based combat feels like a modern take on the games that shaped my childhood. It’s exactly the kind of experience I’ve been waiting for.

The tough part is that my situation hasn’t changed much. Living in a developing country, I still don’t have the same access to resources as many players around the world. Add my medical situation, and it’s hard for me to afford or get new games. That’s why I’m here, reaching out to this community. I’m hoping someone might be able to help me experience Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. It would mean so much to me.

I want to make it clear that this isn’t just about wanting another game to play. RPGs have always been more than entertainment for me. They’re stories about resilience, imagination, and triumph even when things feel impossible. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 looks like a game that embodies all of that, and I’d be honored to experience it firsthand.

Lastly, why request it on GOG and not Steam you ask? With recent alarming developments, or more likely regression, with our world, I just want to preserve and own my game copy for a lifetime, if given a chance. These days, buying and owning something that you can keep has become more rare. To a point that it feels like a privilege, and not a right. This is not an ad for GOG, but I really like their mission where you can download the game's installer and keep it forever, and you don't need internet to play games you own in GOG.

I know everyone here has their own struggles, and I don’t expect special treatment. But I thought it was worth sharing my story in case it resonates with someone.

Thanks for taking the time to read. Whether or not my request can be granted, your support and understanding mean a lot. For players like me, RPGs aren’t just games; they’re lifelines, sources of joy, and reminders that even in tough circumstances, adventure and hope are always possible.

Have a great day ahead.

DISCUSSION [Discussion] Steam makes gifting easier; Changes to cross-region gifting

Upvotes

Source article

Cross-region gifting

Buying a gift for a friend in a higher-priced region? In the past, digital gift cards were the solution for gifting, but that required you to know the full price of the game in your friend's region.

Now you can gift games directly to your friend. Steam will calculate the cost in your friend's region at checkout. Your friend needs to be on your Steam friends list to send this type of gift.

REQUEST [REQUEST][STEAM] Beat Saber

Hi everyone, I hope you're all having a great day. Recently, something really awesome happened. For my birthday, one of my closest friends surprised me by giving me his old Meta Quest 2 VR headset. He had upgraded to the Meta Quest 3 and knew I'd always been interested in trying VR, so he decided it would make a much better gift than letting it collect dust on a shelf. I honestly wasn't expecting anything like that, and it made my birthday incredibly memorable. I've spent the last few days setting everything up, trying out some free VR experiences, and getting used to how immersive virtual reality can be. It's been an amazing experience so far, but there's one game I've wanted to play for years: Beat Saber. I've watched countless gameplay videos over the years and have always loved how it combines music, rhythm, and movement into something that's both fun and a surprisingly good workout. Now that I finally have access to a VR headset, it's the game I'm most excited to experience for myself. Unfortunately, I can't justify buying it right now. Between everyday expenses and trying to stay on top of my budget, spending money on games has to take a back seat. VR is completely new to me, and while I'm grateful just to have the headset, I simply can't afford to purchase Beat Saber at the moment. If anyone would be willing to gift me a Steam copy of Beat Saber, I'd be incredibly grateful. I know it's not a cheap game, and I completely understand if no one is able to help. Either way, thank you for reading my post and for being part of such a generous community that gives people the chance to enjoy games they otherwise couldn't. Thank you for your time, and I hope you have an amazing day!

REQUEST [REQUEST] [STEAM] The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales

Hi GoG,

Game: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3483510/The_Adventures_of_Elliot_The_Millennium_Tales/

I’d love to play The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales. I really like the HD 2D art style and the real time action combat. Pair that with the exploration and a fantasy world that looks very reminiscent of The Legend of Zelda, and it looks right up my alley.

I’ve been playing the demo and watching some gameplay, and the combat especially has been a lot of fun. The demo is actually what convinced me that I’d like to play the full game rather than just something I thought looked cool from the trailers.

I also really like games where I can take my time exploring. Sometimes I just want to run around or even idle for a bit and enjoy the cozy atmosphere, then go back to looking for secrets, or finding loot and resources. From what I’ve played so far, this seems like the type of game where I could do exactly that.

The art style is another big reason I like it. I’ve always thought the mix of pixel art with modern lighting and environments looks great. The world just looks like somewhere I’d enjoy exploring without feeling like I have to rush through everything.

I’m also trying not to look up too much about the story or later areas. I’ve seen enough gameplay to know I’m interested, but I’d rather discover most of the game myself if I get the chance to play it.

I can’t really justify buying a new game right now, so I figured I’d try my luck here. If anyone is willing to gift it, I’d really appreciate it and would definitely put the time into playing it.

Thanks for taking the time and reading my post!

OFFER [OFFER][Steam] any game under or close to $7NZD

Before this I had someone gift me Geometry Dash at the time at $7NZD. In my GOG I said I hope to repay this kindness back someday, and I want to do that now after getting some funds into my steam wallet.

You are allowed to choose any game on Steam under or around $7NZD. I know this may sound negative but I would like to reserve the giveaway to people that have not gotten more than 3 games gifted on this community so other people who haven't got gifted much games can have a fair chance. I also like ww2 history so if you read this far put in a ww2 fact you like and gun. You can also convince me further by adding why you want the game.

I will choose the winner in around 24 hours.

REQUEST [Request][Steam] Hades 2, one of my most wanted games, on sale for 7.34 USD

As the title mentioned i am a very very big fan of this game, or i can say i love roguelikes in general. The gameplay loop is so satisfying, you enter the level, pick upgrades, fight enemies and move to the next level or boss, just straight up action. I've played hades 1 and it is one of my favourite games, i absolutely love the fast paced hack n slash combat. And every run feels fresh because of the weapons variety and boons. It is so peak. For a long time i thought there is no other game that can top the fun i get from hades 1. Then Supergiant went on and released hades 2. And brother this game is so peak.

I saw its gameplay and they cooked once again. They changed the gameplay just enough so that it feels the same, but it brings some fresh new mechanics, which i absolutely love, especially the magic. In the first game the combat was focused on dodging. In this one the combat is focused on magic and positioning. This way you can enjoy both games equally.

Why i need this game? it's because i plan to put countless hours into it, the gameplay is so addictive. I don't think I'll need another game to play after this (kind of an exaggeration but you get my point)

It is genuinely one of the best roguelikes ever made.

The game is on sale right now but i do not have the sufficient funds to buy it, i would really appreciate some help.

REQUEST [REQUEST] [STEAM] Mecha Chameleon

Hello everyone!

I hope you're all having a great day. This is my first time making a request here, and after thinking about it for a while, I decided to give it a try.

I'd like to request Mecha Chameleon on Steam. I've always had a soft spot for platformers, especially indie games that mix creative mechanics with exploration instead of relying only on difficult combat. Mecha Chameleon really stood out to me because of its unique color-switching mechanic, charming art style, and the way each level seems to encourage experimentation. From the gameplay videos I've watched, it looks like one of those games that's simple to pick up but still rewarding to master.

I usually spend my free time playing games because it's one of my favorite ways to relax after dealing with everyday responsibilities. I don't have a huge budget for entertainment, so I tend to wait for sales, claim free games whenever I can, or replay games I already own. Even though Mecha Chameleon isn't an expensive title, it's one of those purchases that I have to put off while I focus on more important expenses.

I really enjoy discovering smaller indie titles that don't always get the attention they deserve. Some of my favorite gaming experiences have come from games that weren't huge AAA releases, and Mecha Chameleon feels like it could become another one of those memorable experiences.

I know there are many people posting requests here every day, and I completely understand that there are plenty of deserving requests to choose from. Whether someone decides to gift me the game or not, I genuinely appreciate that communities like this exist where people can share kindness with strangers who simply want to enjoy a game they've been looking forward to.

If anyone decides to help me, I'd be incredibly grateful. I'll definitely play through the game, complete it, and leave an honest Steam review to support the developers. Thank you for taking the time to read my post—I appreciate every minute you spent here.

Thank you, and I hope everyone has a wonderful day and happy gaming!

REQUEST [REQUEST] [STEAM] Onimusha 1+2 Pack 3rd attempt.

Hello members of GOG. this is my 3rd attempt at requesting this goated game.
I am a huge fan of samurai games and onimusha was one of the first games i ever played on my playstation 2 as a kid.

I owned devil may cry and resident evil on my ps2 when it came with it but my dad bought onimusha dawn of dreams for my birthday and that's when i fell in love with this series. After i finished that game, i asked my dad to buy the other ones to play after school and i fell in love with this series. I would come home from school and just go straight to playing it because i loved it so much. I have such a love for capcom games which made me play every single game from capcom.

When they revealed in 2024 at game awards onimusha, i got so hyped that i almost broke my phone and i couldn't believe they are making a new onimusha game!!!!! and i had to tell everyone that a new onimusha is gonna come out.

In 2025 Onimusha 2 got a port for pc and i was so happy that i came to steam so new players could see it and try it out on their own! I have played it at a friends home and i loved it so much. I really would have bought it with my own money but i can't afford it.

In October i am gonna start going to college and i am saving to upgrade my laptop or even buy a new laptop if i can find a good deal. I decided to enroll into college because i recently finished 13 grades(i went to a special school because i am a slow person so i struggled in a normal school) but my passion for music motivated me enough to enroll into music school to support my hobby and become a music teacher at the end of my life if i succed in singing,

I am sorry for my yapping and i hope you have a great day. Thanks for reading and have an amazing day <3

REQUEST [Request][PC] Minecraft: Java Edition (attempt 7)

Upvotes

Here I come again...

hey gamers

ive been a huge fan of mc for a long time, probably like most of you. its just such a good game. its one of those games that never really gets old no matter how many years pass.

ive always wanted to play java edition on pc with the official launcher but i never had the money for it. i always dreamed of joining servers like donut smp, 2b2t, hypixel, just playing with other people and seeing how everything works there, but i never got the chance and slowly started losing hope

lately ive been seeing all the new updates and it just makes the game look even better than i remember. stuff like maces, spears, and the cute baby animals makes it feel new again.

i always wanted to get better at pvp, learn how it really works, and beat the game in survival at least once instead of only watching others do it

i even tried making my own version of minecraft since im into game dev, but yeah im still far from making something like that. it actually made me respect the game more

another thing i really like is mods. especially qol mods and horror mods, they look really interesting and a bit scary. i would spend a lot of time trying different modpacks.

before i didnt even know minecraft had so many mods, especially since i only knew bedrock, but now i see how much they can change the game

im a young game dev with about 2 years of experience. ive made around 408 dollars from my projects, but my parents dont let me buy anything online so ive always had to stick with free stuff

minecraft was a big part of my childhood. all the youtubers, survival series, and memories. recently ive been kinda bored and had nothing to really do, then i watched some mc videos again and that feeling came back. i thought maybe i could get it using microsoft rewards, but that didnt work since gift cards arent available in my region

so now im here again, still trying one more time

region: armenia

thanks for reading, hope youre all having a great day!

REQUEST [Request][Steam] Call of Duty®: Black Ops II Bundle (Attempt 3)

Upvotes

Hi everyone!

I'm back with my third attempt, so thanks for taking the time to read my post.

I'm requesting the Call of Duty®: Black Ops II Bundle because it's a game that means a lot to me. I played it years ago when I was in middle school and high school, but I never actually owned a copy.

Back when Blockbuster was still around, I'd rent Black Ops II whenever I had the chance. I remember trying to make the most out of the weekend before I had to return it. Whether I was playing the campaign or spending hours in Zombies, I always wished I could keep playing after returning the game.

Now that I'm older, I'd really like to own it and experience everything again, especially the Zombies maps included in the bundle. I'd love to revisit Origins, Mob of the Dead, Buried, and Die Rise, and finally play them without worrying about time limits like I did back then.

I'm from Mexico, and while Steam's regional pricing helps, I try to be responsible with my money. Most of it goes toward everyday expenses, so buying games usually has to wait.

If someone decided to gift me this bundle, I'd truly appreciate it. It would let me revisit one of my favorite gaming memories and finally own a game that I only got to enjoy through rentals.

Thank you for reading, and I hope you have a great day!

REQUEST [Request][Steam] Resident Evil 8: Village (On Sale! $9.99)

SALEEE TIMEEE BABY, suprised to see the series on sale.

I love Resident Evil, I mean, who doesn't? It's a gem in the horror survival genre and it has been a big deal since the title's release. I like zombies and I like horrors beyond my comprehension being dealt with with totally legal firearms while being a badass character that can somehow regen his body even when his hand gets cut off. Ethan Winters back at it again with this time, he has zombies, werewolves, and 4 lords on his path to save his child, Rose, and yes, he has that father that will do anything for his child energy. True chad energy indeed.

I've been watching a lot of RE stuff lately mainly the Resident Evil no running challenge by ChickenNinja42 and it has got me hooked to the games, I appreciate the atmosphere these games have and as someone who has played RE5 on the Xbox 360 I would love to try this game again through the latest chronological entry to the series; VILLAGE. It's cool, the enemies are badass, bosses are cool as hell and the atmosphere has never been this cold, to me at least cause yknow, the village is covered in snow. Haha *laugh track*

What I like about this game more than the other ones is the bosses, 4 lords of the village, 4 badass fights and the ending fight where everything goes full chaos mode but so does our bullets lol. I like the designs of the enemies in this game, mimicking those of old medieval legends and myths, I really appreciate the atmosphere it gives and the bosses improves these aspects more. I love the game and it'll mean the world to me if I do get to play it someday lol. If you made it this far I appreciate it still because a single read from you means you read through the whole shenanigans I just yapped about so, thank you kind fella. Thank you for reading and have a nice a nice day, peace out gamers. And happy sale time to the series.

REQUEST [REQUEST][STEAM] Hades

Hey everyone, this is my first post here and I was wondering if anyone could buy me the first Hades game? Money has been tight and I LOVED Hades when I had my switch, but ever since I've gotten my Steam Deck I just haven't had the opportunity to get it. Even now, that it's on sale, money is still a pretty big factor. I know it may sound frugal to request someone to buy a game that is only 8 euro where I am, but if I could, I wouldn't be asking.

Since I never got to finish it on Switch, I was wondering if someone would bless me with the capability to actually finish it and experience the game in its entirety. I sold my switch around a year ago, which is the reason I now have a Steam Deck, and I remember desperately grinding the game to finish it before I sold it. Still, I was never able to achieve it.

Additionally, and while I admit this is a bit of a smaller reason, I am working on a student project where I create a detective, visual novel game where all the characters, settings, and events are inspired by Greek Mythology with a modern adaptation, and Hades is a huge inspiration for me. If I could get access to the full game, it would give me 100% access to all the character designs, dialogue, gameplay loops, settings, and every small detail that google just doesn't quite give.

Also, if any of you own a Steam Deck, you would know the game is absolutely beautiful on the OLED screen. Everyone I know who has one, every youtuber I've seen, and every blog I've read has raved about how Hades should certainly be experienced on an OLED screen if given the chance. Considering I only had like 10 hours on the game on my Switch, I don't feel like I truly "experienced" it, you know?

So, anyone who could fullfill my request would be greatly appreciated, and I would love to play this amazing game. Thanks!

REQUEST [Request][Xbox] Ready or Not Mission Pass Alpha

Howdy yall. How you guys and gals doing?

Recently I bought ready or not on console and I wanted to know if yall could get me the mission pass alpha dlc.

Why do I want it?

Well for one it costs $30 to buy all the dlc separately, and 2, I'm really enjoying ready or not and I'd like to be able to play the dlc without having to rely on joining friends who own it

Basically I wanna be able to experpience the dlc for ready or not whenever I'm playing solo and whenever I cant join anyone (because the game has a tendency to crash when joining multiplayer)

If you guys are wondering "Oh why dont you buy it yourself?", My funds are drained tryna keep my house in order and paying the bills and living expenses, sadly

I'm completely drained sadly, otherwise I'd just go and buy it myself

Why should you consider gifting?

A great gift goes along way into making someone so god damn happy and they'll be eternally thanking you.

What will I enjoy about the DLC?

What I'll enjoy about the DLC is being able to lead D-Platoon through the missions and I'll be so friggin happy to be able to unlock the cosmetics included with all 3 DLCs

If yall do consider it, I'll be forever in one of yall's debts for life.

Thank you so much

REQUEST [REQUEST][XBOX] Resident Evil 1 ($4.99)

Hello everyone,

I am a huge fan of the Resident Evil franchise, i've played all the games from Resident Evil 2 to Resident Evil 8 but i've never even touched the first one. I saw it was on sale so i thought might as well try.

This game is the hd remaster of the orignial game, this game graphics look amazing. This is where the series began and im really curious to see it. It has tank controls which i could definitely manage.

This game has such a cool atmosphere, you're stuck in the spencer mansion, with zombies at every corner, the colors are dark and the place is claustrophobic which really adds to the horror of the game. You can play as either Jill Valentine or Chris Redfield and they both have their own unique traits which adds a replayability factor into the game, which is very nice. I love this franchise alot and i just have a few games left to have played them all.

Anyway, thank you for reading and i hope you have a great day!
