TLDR - Clueless choosy level 450 host wastes 45 mins of everyone's life because they are super unprepared for the Kortz heist and couldn't complete it even after being spoon fed.

Story- I was about to go to sleep yesterday right after a bunker delivery, but then I got a Kortz center invite and I chose to stay. Dude took 15 mins inviting everyone in the lobby removing anyone under L70 who joined. After a while he finally settled with L450 himself, a 550, me 100 and some dude at 76. None of us had voice chat enabled.

As soon as we reach Kortz center the 76 drives his vehicle directly right in front of the main entrance covered with CCTVs and triggers the alarm. This is 5 secs in. Dude was legit to remove people with low level.

We proceed and kill all the guards in the way to enter Kortz center. 76 was killed off somewhere during the entry. Good riddance.

This is when shit flies through the roof, the host has no idea what they are doing and they are not willing to figure it out as well. Me and 550 carry the whole heist. I did all the hacks, dodging the lasers and disabling them, unlocking the vault and 550 deleted the CCTV footage. All of this while host 450 jumps in, tries to do the hack, fails, and then hands it over to us. While hacking the elevator, I got out to find 5 guards standing behind me and all my partners running around.

But we did it, almost. We looted everything, we had full bags, a loot worth 2.5M and then the real horror started. We proceed to shoot all the guards in the ground and first floor. We are waiting for host 450 to come to the 1st floor so that we can exit, but they don't. They kept roaming around and we kept shooting guards. We went down 3 times trying to make them follow us to the first floor but they would just not do it.

Me and 550 gave up after a point. We were standing still next to the entrance, hoping host 450 would come up. That never happened. They chose to exit and end the heist after 45 mins which should've taken 20 mins max.

I was so furious, and I am probably never doing a complex heist with any random again. Also, the irony of being a levelist while starting the heist. 🤦 Is this common in GTAO?

Had a noob join my ceo for a sell mission and I noticed he had the original coquette, the one for what ever reason you can’t buy anymore. I got him to take it to lscm and bought a copy to finish my collection😁

I keep getting glitched into the art studio with weapons available... The doors dont work, but all it takes is a quick grenade or a lobby switch.

I think its time for some rest...ill come back and deal with it in like 6 hours

For help avoiding the floor lasers in the new heist here's some help, at least for normal mode because I haven't done this heist on hard.

All you have to do is just charge across the floor the second the floor sweeping laser begins to fade away. Look out for the other three lasers and time it out so they're not in the way. You'll be able to dash across this section before the laser reappears.

Also another post showed how much easier it is in first person during this segment, and I agree. I've only done the heist three times but I haven't screwed this section up since doing it in first person. I've also heard you have a smaller hotbox doing this but I haven't seen direct proof.

Hopefully this hasn't been posted already and this helps y'all out! I've been seeing post after post of people struggling with this so I wanted to help out.

Safe to say that rockstar really didn't have to do all of this for a 600k perfect payout.

Should've just made the heist have a one week cooldown with a 2m+ payout like the first try..cuz this is just too much
