Amey update:

To start my health is rapidly deteriorating. Driving is becoming more difficult. I am very unsteady on my feet. I have fallen multiple times including again last night and I hit my head earlier this afternoon. Can’t keep her down. Can’t keep liquids down. I am either sleeping too little or a lot. It’s taking a minimum of four weeks for small little things to leave my symptom. The fact remains that if nothing happens, I probably won’t make it much longer. I want to make it to November for my vow renewal, so we have come up with a tentative plan as long as I can find a doctor to help. I am willing to temporarily have a J tube put in, but it must be taken out on or before my birthday, which is October 3 so that I have two months to heal before we go on vacation. If this is the last vacation I get to take I want to be able to get in the water and swim and not be hankered down by a feeding tube. I refuse to live on one and my body refuses to live on one. So at least we’re on the same page on that aspect. The next thing would be palliative care where I would get a telehealth doctor as well as nurses to advocate for me. We would have to do some rearranging in the house for a walker of some sort or something to help me from falling so much. I do have an update on Monday that I do have an appointment with Dr. Forster to see if he’s going to be the one to put all of this together for me. Spoiler, he’s not because if he cuts one, he wants to cut me all the way up again. I am way too malnourished for that If not, I have a primary care physician appointment the following Friday (just got a call that Dr Golfinopoulus will be my PCP and if Dr. Forster doesn’t set up the rest of it, then he will) and I will speak to them about it at that point. Although, at this point, it’s most likely going to be a TPN line for that time, taking some malnourishment to make it through November. In the meantime, I’m asking if anyone has anything to donate to a garage sale I wanna have a garage sale so I can raise some money as well as a GoFundMe so that I can put some money together to travel and go say goodbye to family members in person on my terms. Because I’m not really wanting or needing a service afterward. In fact, I am doing research into just donating my body to science. Because it definitely is a “difficult case” as I’ve been told multiple times. Maybe they can find answers and then my family wouldn’t have to worry about anything else except for surviving. So, if you’re in the area and you have anything to donate to the garage sale, I will happily take it. Everything else will be donated afterwards that’s left. And after I start the GoFundMe, if you could pass it around and share it, I would appreciate it.

My small family is recovering after our two bedroom house had a electrical fire which destroyed all of our belongings, and displaced us to a hotel and in this time we are trying to get food and clothing from any sources available.
