Got side swiped the other day, wondering if it’ll be written off. Only have had it for a year, such a shame, love the ford fusion sport it’s phenomenal.

My transmission fluid temps are consistently hitting above 210 Fahrenheit in 80 degree ambient weather at highway speeds (70-80mph). Torque converter is not slipping at all and I suspect a cooling issue

I have a 2014 ford fusion I've had for 11 years front end did receive damage and part of the wiring harness got exposed one day I touched two wires together n got a spark m since I don't have ac. I have checked the fuse under the hood after reconnecting the wires to the corresponding colors and I have no power at the fuse. I don't want to buy a compressor and that not be my problem any advice?

During ride engine is turning off after Advance Trac and Hill Start asist err code and when trying to start with key does nothing untill opening door. So weird issue but repeats often

I've already changed abs sensor , tried to change engine brain but still appears after that changed relay positions after that 3 days no err till now.

I have no idea what even is going on with this thing. As soon as you turn the car over fluid just spills out. It is definitely transmission fluid. The only thing I could think of is a bad rear main seal

Edit: I am not asking about the gear knob click.

Is this sound coming from under when changing gears normal? You will hear the click from the knob and in the background you can hear a feint thump as it changes gears.

The seller says it has no accidents (I’ll verify with Carfax), it’s a single-owner vehicle, and it has a full service history, all done at the dealership. They also purchased an extended warranty for it.

And surprisingly, the price is $4,900 USD. Yes, it’s real, and no, it doesn’t seem to be a scam.

My question is: How reliable is the 2.7L EcoBoost twin-turbo engine? I’ve never owned a Ford before, so I’d like to know what common issues to look for and what I should inspect before buying.

About a month ago, my bluetooth connection stopped working, i try to press “connect bluetooth” or any other bluetooth related button and it freezes and for some reason turns bluetooth off. I remedied this by just plugging my phone in, and it worked for 3 weeks, and now when I plug it in, the screen just says Initializing… until I unplug it. I now am on my last resort of CDs and waiting for that to break down too. Any help is appreciated

The plastic protector broke prior to getting my car detailed and the air compressor messed up the readings how can I reset?

I just got a used 2014 fusion hybrid 108,000 miles for $9400 selling price. Pretty good right? Tomorrow is the last day to return so I just want to make sure I check the right things. My mpg is hovering at around 35.5. Not sure if it’s my driving but I’ve been trying to take it more easy and it does go up a little. I took a 200 mile highway trip also and no problems other than lower than expected mpg. Could it be the 12v battery that was out in in 2022? Battery check at Sam’s Club passed. Does mpg slowly decrease over time? Is it driving habits? Does traffic make mpg worse or better? New to hybrid so please lmk everything you I should be weary of? Can I trust this hybrid battery will take more 50k+ miles next few years. How are other 2014 people with their original hybrid batteries doing?

The rear passenger door on my 09 fusion does not respond to the buttons on the inside of the car, nor the key fob. The only way to lock and unlock it is to do it manually with the little lever above the door handle. Does anybody know how to fix this? The rest of the doors work fine

I have a 2020 Ford Fusion titanium with black leather and very dark gray exterior so it gets very hot in the summer. I've used some seat covers and it helps a little bit but the cooled seats don't do anything to cool down my back. I bought a plug-in cigarette lighter cooling seat cover on Amazon and it doesn't seem to work. Have any of you found something to help keep your ass from burning off with your Fusion?

I posted this a while ago and got a pretty definitive answer - this hole helps with towing/jacking up the car and gives ample space.

On that note, what if I just cut this whole rectangular bottom piece OFF the car? Just the long rectangle shape that the hole is cut into. Technically that won't cause any issues right, because that still leaves the space and it's just extra plastic? If that would be a mistake please enlighten me cuz I'm quite in the dark about this kinda stuff

I have a 18’ Fusion Hybrid S which originally came with SYNC 1, but it has this style gauge cluster. The only info I can get in the right screen is MPG/Efficiency info. I upgraded the unit to SYNC 3 recently but I still don’t have any other menus in that screen and I was wondering if anyone knows if it’s possible to unlock the other screens as shown in the attached image. I was hoping something maybe in FORScan?

I have a 2017 Ford Fusion 2.5L, 67.6k miles and up to date oil change. I’ve had the car for about 2 going on 3 years now. I have no known issues with the car outside of a tire pressure sensor fault on one tire. I’ve been putting it off for a while but I do check my tires and have a portable tire inflator. Other than that, my rear tire (not the same tire with the sensor fault) keeps needing air every couple of months. I’m not sure if I need it replaced or if it could be fixed, but I’ve been so busy I haven’t been able to get to it. I just put air in it and the alert goes away.

In regards to my concerns, when I first got the car, my tank would max at about 340ish miles to e. Unfortunately, now whenever I fill my tank it’ll barely max at 200, no more than 209 but average about 190. This is frustrating because I’m constantly putting gas in my car just to lose it. I’m constantly putting $40 dollars just to have to go back barely a week later.

My driving habits haven’t changed. I work (7ish miles away) and I mostly insta cart groceries. I’m not sure what to think of it, I know nothing about cars and don’t want to be taken advantage of. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I've been looking around for a fun little sedan, and I came across this Ford Fusion Sport with the 2.7L twin-turbo V6. These are extremely rare in Canada I've only seen one in person, and I almost mistook it for a regular Fusion.

Has anyone here actually owned this specific car? I'm asking because it shows a claim on Carfax for around $8,000 in repairs. Apparently, it hit an animal in the rear back in December 2024 and i want to get more details.

I'm curious if the previous owner is around and can share some details about what happened and how the repair turned out.

I haven't see nor test drove it irl but it looks really clean from the pictures and low mileage too 120k km ~75k miles.

Hello! I own a 2017 Ford Fusion, and this past weekend I took my younger brothers out for a bit. They must have gotten out of the car and didn’t shut it all the way, because when I started my car I got a “Door Left Ajar” message on my dashboard this morning, which made me realize it hadn’t been closed all the way all weekend. Obviously my battery isn’t dead because my car started, (thank god for the automatic battery saver) but is this something I should keep an eye on? I commute 45-50 minutes to work everyday so the idea of my battery dying and being stranded freaks me out lol
