Hey, y'all, we're working on some new ways to help the community who is buying tickets to EDC Las Vegas and other Insomniac festivals here.
In the meantime, though, I've created a Megathread to collect the names/evidence of known scammers, so that we can have a list handy in place instead of there being solo posts about them.
Updated/edit: goCONFIRM shut down last year, and so sadly that will not be a viable way to trace moving forward.

Why do tickets have to be face value?
Because we don't believe in scalping. Chances are you have an extra ticket because someone isn't able to go so help someone else out and help the person out that can't go just getting their money back.
What is face value?
Price that includes ticket, fees, and shipping. Since there are different tiers, the highest tier is the max value of ticket. If someone is attempting to sell a ticket for above face value, please report them to the moderators.
Can I buy a ticket for just one day?
EDC Las Vegas tickets are three-day wristbands. We do not recommend purchasing single days, nor do allow this.
Can I buy a wristband for camping only?
No, we do not allow for the sale of camping wristbands. The only sales for Camp EDC we allow are for those who will be staying at the campsite they are buying or joining that campsite.
Do I get the box of goodies if I buy from someone?
That is not guaranteed and dependent upon the seller. If you're buying it's up to the person selling. Ask them if it's included!
Do I have to give someone my box of goodies if I'm selling?
If you're selling you don't have to give the other person the box but let them know.
How can I get the box if I bought from someone?
In years past the will call booth has had extras available. If you'd like one make sure to arrive early and avoid long lines, but there is no guarantee that there will be extras.
How can I prevent myself from getting ripped off?
Use a verified paying method such as PayPal and make sure it's for goods or services. This isn't foolproof but if you choose the option of just sending to friends and family you'll have very little chances of disputing a sale.

Can I just transfer my payment plan or wristband to someone else through Front Gate?
At this time, there is no official confirmation that Front Gate will allow for the transfer of wristbands or payment plans. Be aware of scammers.
Am I better off buying through eBay or StubHub?
That's for you to decide. Those sites do offer additional protection for buyers and sellers but you'll also pay higher prices.
What's the deal with registering a wristband?
Once a wristband is registered it is registered to the person who registered it for customer service related issues. It's recommended that you purchase an unregistered wristband so that you can put it into your name.
Please note: Even after registering, the original cardholder still can claim the wristband is lost or stolen and invalidate the one you're wearing.
How can I verify someone's identity?
You can try and friend request someone on Facebook. You can ask if they have any other social media accounts. Ask for a photocopy of a drivers license and the credit card with everything but the last 4 digits blacked out. Someone trying to sell should have no issues with providing this information and if they do it could be buyer beware. If you're trying to sell, be open, honest and connect with someone to ease the fears. Once the festival is over just unfriend the person!
Can I sell a box of goodies?
No.
Can I sell pool party/club tickets to EDC Week events?
Yes. In Las Vegas tickets are different for girls and guys, make sure to specify who the ticket is for! Face value only for whatever the current price is! If you bought a ticket early and paid $30 and tickets are now $100 you can sell for $100 but be nice and help a person out.
These tickets are typically just a print at home PDF file. If you haven't left for Vegas yet and you know you can't attend you can easily send someone the file. Before you depart for Vegas take some time to print your tickets out because in the event you are unable to attend something it'll be easy to just hand someone the ticket.
Can someone just print out multiple tickets and start selling them?
Unfortunately, the answer is yes. If the person you're buying from says they are going as well just ask if you can walk in at the same time. Take the steps above as well to connect with someone to make sure that they are real. Majority of people the morning of a pool party are just too burned out to attend and just want to get something for the ticket.
Will ticket prices go down the week of?
Possibly. Depends on the demand for tickets.

I have two friends that canceled on me and my girlfriend. I paid $700 per ticket. I don't need to make it all back, but I'm looking to make money back now because my friends never ended up paying us back for their tickets and they said they are not going anymore. Im taking offers I have proof of purchase and any proof you would need. I am based in Las Vegas, so once I do get the tickets, I can drop them off or you can pick them up.

Hi my name is Victoria! Message me for a video chat or I’ll record a video of me with proof of everything! I bought tier 2 for weekend 2 when they came out, but now I decided to do weekend 1 for my last EDC (I’d rather get used to the fomo while seeing weekend 2 goers). From a heartfelt level, the idea of Dusk resonates with me a little more for my last go. I know it doesn’t matter but this is my 5th and last edc so if you been to edc you know it can lowkey matter 🌅🦉🎡
I know it’s way too early for all of this, but I can’t help but offer now since I just bought weekend 1 layaway.
I’m based in San Francisco, I’d prefer someone in the area or state just to make sure everything works out as it gets closer, but ultimately it really doesn’t matter because I’ll be switching the shipping address to you anyways. I also just want to reassure the buyer I won’t scam as it gets closer like report it stolen or something that’s fucking awful and scary risk to buy resale I’ve never had to experience that since I always buy on the site so that fear is real I can’t imagine, I’m just a solo raver with real PLURR and again happy to FaceTime and reassure you however way possible

I’d honestly prefer to ask you to pay in full, I already did the first payment so I’m down to just subtract that from the total. I’d really just use the money to put into my weekend 1 especially since I had to get a later tier aka my weekend 1 is more expensive than my weekend 2 ticket.
But I know that’s easier said than done, so I’m down to give you the layaway payments I just never done this before but I’m sure we can look into logistics, as long as your comfortable with that too since it’s all under my personal EDC account.
If all fails I’ll just cancel my weekend 2 and have to eat the fees, but why not offer the sold out weekend with a good tier price ! Thanks for reading fellow ravers and see you at DUSK 🙆🏽♀️🤎🦉🌅

I was really looking forward to this experience. But had a friend cancel on me (totally fine). And if it weren't international, and my first time at that, I'd be more than okay going solo. But unfortunately it just makes more sense to cancel the trip on a whole. Especially since my friends wedding is a couple months before, I can have more funds (and pto) for that now. That being said, I now have a VIP wristband that I have no use for. If anyone wants it, I'm willing to let it go for $350 USD OBO. Message me, we can talk on insta or whatever. I just dont want the band to go to waste. Have a good time out there for me yall. If youre going to Dawn weekend for EDCLV i'll see you there instead ;)

Hi! I just wanted to make a post to see if this has happened to anyone else and what you did to resolve it.
I have a layaway plan for EDCO, and I do have the money to pay it off. I’m just one of those people who hates spending a large amount all at once, so the layaway plan works really well for me.
I make my payment on time every single month, but today I received five emails saying my card was charged five times for my monthly payment. I didn’t request this, and I haven’t missed any payments. My account is still showing that I have a remaining balance, so I’m not sure what’s going on.
If anyone has experienced this before, could you please let me know what you did to get it resolved? Thanks in advance!

Playing this here because the main page won’t let me post it due to “selling a ticket” (which I’m not).
My husband and I had VIP tickets this last year and for most of the trading cards after hunting for them. We even found a very generous person who did a card swap with our extras to help us acquire some we were missing. However, we are still missing the 2026 Stereo Bloom card and the only thing we found online was someone selling it on eBay for $168 💀 I was hoping someone on here might be willing to trade our extra Kinetic Field card for their Stereo Bloom so we can complete our collection. Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙌🏻
