26 year old Lauren Caldwell has gotten herself a degree.

From a wicked fundie school in Wisconsin that started in 1999. The "Baptist College of Ministry " which proudly self describes as "Baptist College of Ministry is unashamedly Fundamentalist, repudiating the compromise and toleration of New Evangelicalism in the realms of both personal and ecclesiastical separation."

All students start with a Bible major and then must add a minor or second major. They don't explicitly state it but the Pastoral Leadership major only uses male pronouns in its decription.

Female students can definitely major in the two education options, and probably the music option and maybe the missions major?

No idea which Lauren chose.

The school doesn't mention any sort of accreditation not even from a sketchy christian org. And while their mission and doctrinal statements (which are extremely detailed and thorough on their website) are fundie beyond imagine I'll give them credit for appearing well organized and having grown significantly since starting even though it was just started by a single church.

I wonder what Lauren plans to do with her degree or if she went there also to find a husband of the godly variety.

Either way she's clearly all in on the IFB way of life and they hope the rapture! And if she could get thru her course work there she must be more book-competant than Kendra.

So obviously we have been distracted by felon activities recently. Let's catch up on possible engagements, up coming nuptials and who we think has had a baby, having a baby or what Josie thinks of all of her siblings. Remember, despite this family being off the rails Josie will have a completely different raising/experience than most of her siblings. The camera was not in her face like most of them.

I also wonder how they feel about the warped views of justice that Jim Bob has about thinking that as long as u ask God for forgiveness, then you don't need to suffer the punishment for your crimes.

if I was married into that family, id be freaking out and crying knowing that. Especially since the crimes aren't even minor things like maybe Petty theft or whatever, but CSA and CSAM.

She needs to stop, but at this point she won't.

The witness are Christina Caldwell, Paul Caldwell, an investigator Darrell "Chase" Norris and someone named Thomas Lowe. I will never understand how/why these fundi women stand by their men even when your family member is a victim of the unspeakable crime. May justice hopeful be served in this case.

Is there a pending court date for the sperm and egg donor’s child endangerment charges? What’s going on with that? I’ve lost track.

Jim Bob’s birthday was July 18th (this past Saturday). Either they really are laying down low after Pest 2.0 (except for the mandatory ads) or like I’ve mentioned before, some of them are quietly pulling a Jill and distancing themselves from their dad (my guesses are Josiah, Joy, and Jason).

On that note, what do you think the Dugdashians do for Michelle’s 60th birthday this year? Here are my thoughts…

1. Jinger flies into town with only Finnegan while Jana comes in with Archie and all of the sisters, including Jill, celebrate their mom at their usual brunch spots.
2. A week later, all of the Dugdashians (except for Jill, Jinger, and Justin) head to their usual spot in Destin Beach, Florida head to some vacation spot that is not Florida.

Which children actually had more one on one time with their parents growing up, the duggar or keller children?

In one of the early specials (anna & jfelon courting or wedding) it's stated that the duggars spent more time involved with their children because in the keller family the children each had 15 min a week to speak one on one with their mother about life their thoughts & feelings, other than that 15 min they kept everything else to themselves. However the duggars never said how much one on one time each child actually had with sperm & perm.

Okay. I admit that I am rewatching Joy's wedding episode. I forgot that Laura was the wedding planner. She has really dropped out of the Duggar universe. What the hell happened to her? Why did she disappear?

She forgets the kids names, how many kids she's looking after, and has to save Jennifer from a potential orchestra-pit-worthy fall. I feel like this was very much a Ghost Of Christmas Future moment for her considering that the Pest is nowhere in sight here (thank goodness).

If the boys wanted to leave their locked from the outside room at night couldn't they have just taken the slide from their room to the play room, subsequently having access to the entire house?

In one of the recent podcast episodes, Jeremy talks about how their kid has an IKEA shark plushie, and talks about how great the IKEA shark plushies are... which is a prominent mascot for LGBTQ and trans rights online. Thought it was funny...

I hope they don't see this post and take the plushie away, LOL
