I've only been playing for four hours idk what this means

As hype for this as the actual DLC contents.

So as we all know about the new DLC coming next month and how it includes the runaway and the duelist from the second game and all that stuff, I'm wondering as to what is happening on the voice acting end of it? As we know our beloved ancestor has passed away and red hook refuses to use ai (as they should), will we be getting voice overs related to the runaway and duelist? (Eg putting them on the roster for the first time, or when they die etc.). Will there just not be any new voiced over dialogue for them? Will there be a new voice actor? If anyone has any answers or pointers towards it that'd be awesome.

Hi everyone.

Bloodmoon run here, all dlc (except musqueteer) on, everything is going smoothly, farmed the endless farmstead a bit for cheese.

I've done baron and viscount quests in one week each, killed the crocodilian on viscount quest cause i could. My team for both quests was : PD/Jest/occ/flag. Worked wonderfully, not a single drop off sweat, didn't have to cheese virtues or anything.

Obviouly, this team wouldn't work for countess.

Any feedback from people who actually managed the full run + croc in one go without having to roll for virtues?

Right now i'm considering a HM/SB/MaA/Occ team, and shard dust bolster for countess, but Occ as my only healer feels like a Gamble, same for HM as my only stress healer Could replace it with Flag... Dunno.

I just got the board game and crimson court dlc. Where can I get the rest of the board game dlcs if it’s at all possible?

I honestly never thought we'd get another official DLC after all these years.

Seeing Red Hook return to the original game after the 64-bit update makes me incredibly happy. I'd gladly pay full game price for another full campaign. New regions, bosses, enemies, curios, trinkets... just let me descend into the Estate one more time.

Please keep supporting Darkest Dungeon. There are many of us who would happily come back.

Like now we get two characters from DD2 into DD1 and then later we will get two characters from DD1 into DD2

I'll be starting my now fourth attempt on Beastmen normal difficulty tomorrow. At this point, I really don't get it. Everything seems to fall apart towards the tail end of the second act, someone randomly dies on my second squad, and I just quit the game. Idk what's different, but everyone is just getting crit back to back to back (to back). Don't get me started on these random little stress indicators, piling up over time.

I go from my 'main' (I found it a weird comp, but it worked) squad of Back rank BH / Arsonist Run / Surgeon PD / Feind Abom - WITH NO STRESS HEALING, and I have absolutely little to no issues. Vs Sharp HMW / Confess Vest / Wand MMA / Rav Hellion, and every fight is an uphill battle.

Don't even get me started on my Monarch Leper team that was absolutely chewing through teams until, once again, two random crits back-to-back killed my PD. Then, after resting at a camp, the weakened team got cleared by an ambush.

How tf am I supposed to deal with FATIGUE? Should I be switching every fight??? Should I be letting some inns just die and not care? I feel like I'm getting bounced around trying to protect these inns in Act Two, feeling like I'm getting behind. I feel like the game wants me to play other heroes but have two teams worth leveling decently? Then when I do that it feels like it's incorrect?

Don't get me wrong, I'm venting here for sure; I do like DD2, but I really do miss something about having a Vestal and being able to press the heal button at my discretion.
