I’m packing up my place after a threeyear lease, and the move-out inspection checklist the corporate property management group sent over is just unhinged. They don't just want it clean, they want me to conjure up a brand-new apartment for them

Like, they are legitimately demanding that the inside of the oven extraction hood be completely free of any microscopic grease residue and that the sliding wardrobe tracks be polished to a mirror finish, it's an old rental unit, it was never gonna be so clean. Super greedy property groups isn't new but at this point what is their end game with this bs? Just to pocket your security deposit 100% of the time?

I could try an actual deep clean that covers most "reasonable" things or pay someone to help, I don't mind a cleaning person to come over. But some of the crazy stuff my landlord is inventing I don't think is doable without a big crew. Like scrubbing down the internal tracking mechanisms of a window frame, unless they want a full industrial restoration or something.

I assume the entire leasing market is more and more rigged against tenants. Maybe I just wipe down the main surfaces, leave it generally tidy, and just fight them in tribunal if they try to charge me some extortionate fee? idk

I’m sharing this because I know a lot of local families have children at Goddard Rockwall or are considering enrolling.
A document has been circulating online that includes allegations from former employees, current staff, and parents claiming there were ongoing water intrusion and mold concerns at the school. According to the document, these issues may have been present for an extended period before the recent closure.
The document also alleges:
Repeated flooding and moisture problems over multiple years.
Teachers and parents reporting mold in multiple classrooms, not just one area.
Concerns that visible mold was cleaned with bleach rather than fully remediated.
Employees raising concerns about respiratory symptoms and indoor air quality.
Reports that a mold inspection was scheduled before the school ultimately closed.
Multiple employees reportedly resigning over concerns about the building conditions.
An ongoing dispute involving the building owner related to the property.
I understand these are allegations, and I hope the investigation provides clear answers. At the same time, parents deserve transparency when it comes to the health and safety of their children.

This is my last option on getting help my car breaks went out about a week or two ago a random stranger offered to replace them and he did but he also broke multiple of my lug nuts off, when he was replacing my brakes he end up breaking my jack so I can’t use it. I have asked everyone I can to use their jack even just a basic one and everyone has said no, I haven’t been able to get to work and I am not from here so I don’t have resources of help, I’ve tried looking for a new jack I could buy but they are incredibly expensive due to me driving a Santa Fe. I already have to replace my whole caliper due to some issues and I’m really just needing the help so if anyone is out there and I can borrow a jack I would appreciate it so much

No store around me has a scissor or rolling jack at a reasonable price that will lift my 2+ ton car
