Redid basing colors to more of an Armageddon inspired scheme by looking at official GW basing and references around YT and Reddit. It's the year of the tactical rocks!

( My old bases were getting confused with Martian/Mars basing 🤣)

How would a veteran who’s been disabled in battle denote that he is a veteran like Brother Daniel No Hands here

First time painting fists. Any tip to improve?

Hi,
I’m looking to start building a Crimson Fist army and wanted to put Pedro Kantor in my army. I’ve been looking for a figure of him but I can’t seem to find one anywhere. Any suggestions on where I could get one?

Bought the Armageddon box set to start building my first army. Still have to base this one, but I'm pretty proud of my first paint job thusfar. Any tips on heraldry and upgrades to make them more of Crimson Fists would be helpful.

I recently finished dome of my first Crimson fists models with a more "custom" paint scheme and was wondering if I put too much crimson? I chose to have a red bolter casings and red pouldron trim to add more contrast between the blue and other colors. So what do you think? Too much red, not enough, or just right?

Unrelated Comments and criticism is also much appreciated.

Finished up a Gravis Capitan this afternoon to join my company heroes!

Painted him up without looking at the eavy metal references for the fists in operation inperitor, kinda just been going on vibes more than anything

I’ve got a lot more models to go but I’m happy with how these guys turned out. I know their eyes are usually red but I love glowing green eyes.

I’m looking to start playing after going to a learn to play event at my local game store for 11th edition and Crimson Fists seemed really cool after I started hearing about their lore. I’m not sure how to start building the army because I’m not sure which combat patrol or products would be best to get a good start on the army.

I don't necessarily prefer the look of a pristine SM as if his armor has never seen a day of battle in its existence but I'm worried that I'm straddling the line between intentional wear and tear and messy/splotchy...

Thoughts?

To my understanding with Crimson fists scouts have blue hands (bar sergeant?) Regular marines have a red left hand and veterans have both hands red.

Veterans being anyone in the first company, captains, lieutenants, ancients, and the occasional veteran sergeant in regular squads?

Where it gets more murky is the specialists. Chaplains, librarians, tech marines and apocathrys. I presume that these get thier standard codex complaint colours, eg black for chaplains. But do they wear red fists at all or does thier specialism colour scheme override that?

Assuming they do get red hands do these ranks automatically count as veterans? I imagine chaplains are mostly recruited from veteran marines, but librarians are recruited based on psychic ability, so a new raw recruit may well be a librarian. Similar with tech marines and apocathrys I imagine?

Just wondering what the consensus is on paint jobs for these specialists before I start on​ my Characters from Armageddon.

After using an Intercessor to nail down my color scheme and painting process, I finally got my first 3 Eradicators finished.

Really pleased with the result, especially since I'm still refining my Crimson Fists. Any C&C is very welcome!
